Not as good as before

Oceania is known for finest cuisine at sea but it seemed its quality has gone a bit downhill. The dish presentation is very dull and seemed many people can do a better job at home. In general service is good but could be better as it named itself as luxury cruise line. Entertainment is limited as the ship itself is not big. Sometimes you find not much to do on the ship. First time cruiser with Oceania. We were not disappointed. The service and food reminded me of when I first starting taking cruises. We enjoyed being on a smaller ship and the lack of climbing walls, skating rinks, etc. It was pure bliss being on the pool deck and not having children running up and down, screaming as they splashed each other. The main dining room was not well populated for ...

Regatta - Eastern Mediterranean

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Regatta

Regatta, at 30,000 tons and a capacity of 670 passengers and 400 crew, is more akin to a yacht when lined up against today's mega-ships. Originally built as a series of eight vessels for the luxury line Renaissance Cruises, Regatta and sisters Nautica and Insignia were each given 5-million-dollar facelifts and compose the entire Oceania fleet today (meaning that one ship on Royal Caribbean, ...
