We used O's Extraordinary Savings Sale to get our B3 cabin for a mere $1749 PP plus $300 OBC PP (which paid our gratuities). So, the price alone made this trip worth it. BUT we travel for itineraries and this one did it for us. We only had the 1 sea day, which I do not enjoy that much, but we had Athens, Kavala, Istanbul, Messina, Naples, Rome, La Spezia (changed due to weather from Livorno), ...

WARNING: Long and Detailed. Read at night when you can't fall asleep. Hello Cruise Critic Friends: I came on the Oceania Cruise board 1.5 years ago. I have been on CruiseCritic.com for many years. We have done over 30 cruises. I wanted to make friends, which I did.  I wanted to learn, which I did.  I wanted to enhance my cruising experience with Oceania Cruises, which I did. I have an ...

Of course we sailed Oceania for the food, and we were not desappointed. We are Celebrity & HAL cruises fans, it was our first experience on Oceania and not the last. I wouldnt select them for a transatlantic cruise cause the boat is a bit to quiet, our 10 days Mediterranean cruise with a new port everyday,, this Riviera is perfect. You wonder when or if you will get lobster on any other cruise ...

Background information: We are veteran cruisers with many years of cruising in different parts of the world on different cruise lines (includes Oceania, Disney, RCI, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Cunard). This was our 30th cruise, our longest cruise to date, our eighth on Oceania and our first on Sirena. I have done several other cruise reviews on Cruise Critic. This cruise was ...

A Dream Cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

We wanted to try a smaller ship than the mega liners and liked the itinerary. We had heard very positive things about Oceania Marina and it lived up to the hype. We found the ship beautiful - luxurious without being pretentious. We loved that we weren't hounded by ship's photographers, that espresso drinks were complimentary and that we were given water when disembarking every day. Common ...

I think we may have set the bar to high for our first cruise. Very attentive staff. Top notch dining. We met many other guests from around the world. I think the ship is a perfect size for mingling I would do it again it was very enjoyable. The decor was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. If you want a vacation where you want for nothing this is most assuredly the way to go. There ...

We loved sailing on the Riviera from Athens on the Romance and Relics tour. The ship was spectacular, most especially the service and food. The crew was outstanding a almost every encounter with staff was pleasant. We got to saying hello and calling the staff by name after only a few days aboard. The food experience was the highlight of the ship, most notably Polo restaurant which rated a ...

I was looking forward to the Sirena. I have sailed on the other three R Ships of the line. I was NOT disappointed. I booked solo in a consierge cabin on the seven deck. The same room I always get on the other ships. Perfect for one and a terrific staff. Food was marvelous at all meals. I ate many times on this cruise in the MDR. The waiter I settled on was "Spike" who provided outstanding ...

We cruised with Oceania for the first time last May because many friends had experienced Oceania and recommended Oceania Cruise Line. We did benefit from many specials starting with free internet, some free excursions, free gratuities. Free airfare and 2 for 1 pricing were available for everybody with Oceania Cruises. If we go back, we would take a first night in Athenes before the cruise ...

A Wonderful 7 Night Addition to a Miami to Athens Cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Riviera

This cruise was an extension offer from Oceania. We added it to a Miami to Athens booking and received credits on airfare not needed for a back-to-back cruise. This also gave us an opportunity to do a day tour in Greece during the embarkation day, as we were already on the ship. Dining venues on the Riviera include 4 specialty restaurants, the Grand Dining Room, Waves, and the Terrace Cafe. One ...
