This was our first trans Atlantic cruise and our longest (30days Greece to Argentina)
I have Cpap machine and it requires distilled water. Prior to sailing I requested distilled water but that request was not fulfilled. Once on board, I made another request. The medical staff provide 1 liter of distilled water, which may last 5-7 days
Before crossing the Atlantic (6 nights at sea) I ...
We chose this cruise because it offered the opportunity to see many of the world’s finest cities, cultures, and historic landmarks in comfort and security. Viking delivered on promises of elegant ship design, culinary excellence, quality of staff, and excursion management. Everything was first class yet simple and understated. We also chose Viking to handle our air travel and transfers and were ...
My sister and I wanted to visit Istanbul on the newer RSS Splendor, so we were very happy that we made it to the Turkish ports of Istanbul and Izmir, which were the reasons for booking this itinerary.
It was my sister's 1st cruise, and she loves cruising now!
I have sailed Regent, Oceania, and WindStar with husband and loved all voyages, but this was a girl's getaway.
Pre-cruise, we ...
This was our second cruise on the Navigator this year, a special offer advertised in July for an Eastern Mediterranean itinerary with several new ports was too good to miss. Our trip was just a few weeks after the ship’s visit to the dry dock and the external paintwork looked pristine. It was more difficult to see what they had done to the interiors but everything looked in good condition. Reviews ...
This was one of my ‘bucket list’ trips. I am 75 yo, and really wanted to see the pyramids near Luxor and the UNESCO Petra Ruins. Alas, world politics interfered.
Arrived in Athens to Silvers assigned hotel. Perfectly adequate with a view of the Acropolis and the current Greek Legislature House.’
Had asked agent at Silver Sea multiple times for revamped itinerary. None was given. It had ...
My wife and I chose this cruise to finish a self managed holiday as we were in Europe and wanted to travel through the Suez Canal to Dubai and this cruise had the stops we wanted included three days in Egypt.
My wife and I cruised the Silver Spirit from Athens to Dubai in late October through to mid-November 2023 and now have had time to reflect on the experience from booking through to ...
This review is primarily about our cruise sailing on the Journey, however it also describes our experience with Celestyal Cruises and sets the scene prior to sailing with them.
We had not heard about Celestyal Cruises (CC) before and were enticed by a reasonably priced 14 night itinerary with great inclusions (premium drink package, gratuities and four excursions). We booked 16 months prior to ...
Ship: The Viva has the most modern design of any NCL ship we have ever cruised on, with a modern motif and artwork strewn all about the ship. Being in the Prima class, it is a new concept for NCL. Clearly NCL is upping their game to attract a clientele who will pay a little more for a more upscale experience. We’ve cruised on multiple NCL ships (large and small), but this ship is more about ...
First and foremost, kudos to the service staff on the ship. The spa and restaurants/food staff members are incredible group of individuals who are dedicated, professional, and passionate about what they do.Ropa and Jay at the spa are amazing! The unlimited thermal pass, 359, is worth every penny! Everyone at the restaurants, regular, and specialty, always goes above and beyond. we did surfside ...
This was my second cruise with Azamara and, booking very early, I landed a suite as a solo and "what a difference a suite makes." First time was in a veranda cabin -- not bad, aside from the notorious shower, but very small. The suite is essentially twice the size, the bathroom much bigger and the veranda wonderful. The butler was a joy to know, attentive, friendly, just great. Also, dining in ...
