The trip was very disappointing and definitely not a 5 star experience

This was suppose to be a 5 star experience but it was anything but. They didn't go to two out of the 10 ports and only gave us $500 coupon for use another trip which we won't use. They had ending problems and didn't let us know that we were only running on 3 engines instead of 4. Missing two ports with useless compensation was not good. Won't be using Regent again. The shore excursions were ...

We wanted a cruise of the Greek Islands and the Infinity has a wonderful itinerary to see the islands as well as Israel. The ports of call were exactly what we were looking for. Israel was a very good stop and if anyone were to ask me I would say Israel is very safe and well worth visiting. It was the itinerary that brought us to Infinity. I have sailed two other Celebrity ships the Summit ...

We chose this cruise because we had a credit from a previous Celebrity Cruise where we had a problem. I liked the itinerary and despite some negative reviews about the Infinity we decided to go for it. All in all I thought it was a fine trip. Embarkation went very smoothly and we enjoyed the Concierge special lunch. Althought the ship was far from new it was not a dump. There were some ...

Over all the ship is average. Lame lecture circuit.. here we are in the middle of history, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Rhodes, Malta....you would think a guest lecturer would put some spin of the past, but NO.. the only speaker missed the mark.. had several lectures on how to talk to your dog. Yes. And the turkey is on for the next cruise, too. He is a “ringer”, no way could you get this gig without ...

Ok, first off this was a 10 day Greek Island cruise not an 18 day one that the default this review site shows. Our first trip to Greece. Took the Windstar transfer from the airport. Navigating the Athens airport was easy. Transfer was a taxi driver with a sign. It was fine. Stayed at the Windstar hotel, the St. George. Lovely hotel. Rooms are fine. Location is great and the views from the ...

Decent ship held back by terrible service

Have you ever been to a buffet where the labels are in place, promising tasty treats and then you find that all the food is already gone? That is how this MSC cruise felt in most respects. There is definitely potential and in better hands this could be a great cruise, but MSC and its employees just turns this into a bad experience. Embarkation in Venice was slow. There is a shuttle bus from ...

I need to share the absolutely terrible experience my husband and I had on our recent Regent Voyager cruise – Return to Sorrento in October 2018. My husband and I had never take a cruise before so we didn’t quite know what to expect. We frequently travel and typically stay at 5 star hotels/resorts and have basically traveled the world. Because of our age (my husband turned 80 last year) we ...

I had been looking to do a cruise for the past 5 years and finally decided on Azamara Quest for the 18 day Greece-Dubai tour. I had compared and looked at many cruise lines and was intrigued by the ports of call as I had been in Athens 20 years earlier on a backpacking journey using Eurail. I did not want to do this again and really loved the idea of being able to unpack and be on a floating hotel ...

We selected this cruise because we wanted a 7-day cruise, roundtrip from Athens. SilverSea Silver Whisper was selected because of its size and amenities. We were able to explore Athens prior to boarding the ship. The embarkation process was excellent. It was much more organized than other cruises we have experienced. We found our cabin to be exactly as we expected. The bathroom was ...

I wanted to go to Israel for many years and this cruise offered 2 ports and an overnight. Celebrity Constellation offered this itinerary. WE had sailed on the Connie twice before. The ship has always been well maintained. It is an attractive ship inside and out. The service from the crew - amazing. Our cabin was a balcony forward this time. I really enjoyed the spectacular views from it. Our ...
