The housekeeping crew and all around staff were wonderful. But that’s all

For starters Piraeus was not the port this ship docked on, it was Lavriom. An hour or so away from the Acropolis. I had to pay $150.00 for my husband and myself for a taxi to take us to the Acropolis. It just does not make any sense. The other 16 passengers in our 18 passenger group were not able to go. They just went around the port town which is not the purpose to visiting Athens. All of us very ...

This discount cruise line is only worth it if you truly can't afford anything else

All of the shore excursions that I booked/paid directly with the cruise line were cancelled at the last minute. I have been waiting 4 months (so far) for the refunds. I have submitted 5 requests for information and each one is replied to with the most ignorant nonsense - such as that the refund has been processed to the "agency" and I need to follow up with them however, I did not book with an ...

7 Nights Cruise 3 Continents – Celestyal Crystal

7 Nights Cruise 3 Continents – Celestyal Crystal Ship – the ship is more like a ferry, very old & worn, basic and casual. We expected a very basic cruise and didn’t pack any evening clothes. Although there was the usual captain’s gala night, so there’s a dress code for that evening if participating. Cabin – the cabin was an ok size but the bathroom was tiny and much smaller than other ...

Carbin - We had a 4 bed carbin, it was designed in a strange L shape. Although we booked a double bed, we ended up had 4 single bed. We had to sleep in a head to toe position. With the 2 ladders that goes up to the top bed, I had to squeeze and climb out of my bed everyday. Keep in mind, I am a petite 5.3' girl. The room was very tight, bathroom is even smaller. the corner shower with a shower ...

Worst ship we have been on

It is a terrible ship, old and tired. Tiny cabins single beds at right angles to each other, even for couples . Hardly any storage, we had our clothes on the window ledge. The Food is awful and monotonous. Same breakfast every day, congealed eggs, over cooked bacon etc. Coffee foul. Buffets breakfast and lunch only occasionally a waiter served lunch. Dinner you had to queue for and no ...

Overpriced and under-delivered.

Coming from Australia, we are used to being savvy about cruising – our country is a dumping ground for older ships with poor facilities (looking at you, Princess and P&O) or decent ships that have their prices massively pumped up the moment they hit our shores for the season (looking at you, Royal Caribbean/Celebrity). Our family of four (parents, 19yo son and 17yo daughter) are experienced ...

I chose this cruise, because I wanted to have fun with my wife. I hoped I would find a clear and fresh cabin but I didn't. So I don't suggest it to anonybody. Besides doctor does not appear, if you call him. A nurse is sent in order not to pay 45€ per visit! The pharmacy is not properly updated and you may be in danger during the cruise, if something health matter occures. I called the hospital of ...

Worst Cruise ever

We are seasoned cruiser's and world travelers. We fully understand that places outside the USA can be quite different since we have traveled to China (lived there for a total of 12 weeks) , Russia and many other countries. This cruise ship, and I have to assume company, are by far the worst we have encountered. Avoid this company unless you are prepared for very poor service, food and tours. Here ...

The worst cruise I had the misfortune to take

This cruise left a great deal to be desired- from staff that were unable to speak English to the pTassengers and the mis information they gave to passengers- probably because of language problems and poor training, the only staff that seemed to be happy and had a happy helpful attitude towards passengers were the restaurant waiters. However, the food served was very disappointing and also left a ...
