BACKGROUND AND BOTTOM LINE Avid cruiser, many times with Holland and Cunard. First time on Azamara and was in a suite. It will be our last. Exceedingly poor value. THE GOOD The shore excursions. While they contract with others to do them, they still get some credit for it. The size of the ship. The itinerary. THE BAD Communication before and after the cruise was ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and it as great. Ephesus was unbelievable and the private excursion was noteworthy. There were several great features and some poor features. The cabin staff were very friendly and efficient. ...

Our cabin stewards were wonderful and without them keeping us supplied with complimentary sodas and water we probably would have been totally dehydrated. We found it took so long to get drink service in the buffet dining room that we took our own sodas to meals with us and my husband would get our own ...

We arrived at the port in Piraeus, Athens and the check-in was pretty smooth. Although Azamara Cruises offer open seating policy we were requested to decide on when we wanted to dine the first evening. We took the latest option at 9 pm. STATE ROOM Boarding was also pretty efficient and soon we arrived at our state room 7112 in the category of Sunset Veranda's. The room was as expected in terms ...
