Great Trip from Athens - Dubai
"Our cabin was at the rear of the ship on Deck 8, the stateroom was a good size with a nice balcony, we were in 8090, overlooking the wake we were straight underneath the Sunset bar, we did not get any noise from upstairs at all.The bar service throughout the ship was excellent, we did spend a lot of time in the Living Room...."Read More

Terrible Customer Service

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

The ship was very nice and the staff on board were fantastic. The pool was much too small for the number of people on the ship. The restaurants were all very good. Without the issue I am going to address I would have given a rating of 4.5 out of 5. My major complaint and what puts a very bad taste in my mouth for this cruise line is the customer service after the cruise. I paid $250.00 U.S. (I am ...

Second time travelling with Azamara (first since the takeover and what a difference between products. The crappy service started right from the arrival at Istanbul Airport. We had booked airport transfers through Azamara only to figure out for ourselves after waiting for an hour and numerous calls to their non existent ‘emergency’ help desk that they had not booked them so we had to catch a $70 ...

This was our first cruise on Azamara and they completed exceeded our expectations. Coming out of COVID, we wanted to cruise on a smaller boat, and one of the recommendations from our travel agent was Azamara. Communications after booking the cruise were good. Port check-in and security clearance in Athens (Piraeus) was simple taking only about 30 min, and they did a very simple safety briefing ...

We chose this cruise as it was a smaller ship. We found it much more intimate, no queues and everybody was so friendly. The ship holds 700 passengers but there were only 400 on board. The negatives are the swimming pool was small which if the ship had full capacity this could be a problem. Even though the interior of the ship had been re-furnished they had not done the staterooms. The ...

We travelled From Piraeus - Dubai on Azamara Quest, from Oct 29 - Nov 15. We boarded the Azamara Quest in Piraeus (Athens) and after we finally got onboard, we started to have a great time. There was a delay of nearly 2hrs to board the ship, due to only 1 customs agent working at the Port. We went straight to our safety demonstration once onboard, then off to the cabin , we were greeted ...

My fiance and I choose cruises based on the quality of the cruise line and the itinerary. This is the second time I have sailed on the Azamara Quest, and I would describe it as a country club yacht sort of ship. It does not feel as glitzy as the usual cruise ship, but it is well done in decor and service. We quite enjoyed the food in the MDR, but the buffet had poor quality. We had a hard time ...

AZAMARA QUEST Sept 2022 Club continent suite. There were approx 520 guests on board (max capacity 690) Greece dropped the need to have a negative covid test the day we boarded!. The first thing our butler said was "there were only a few Covid cases in the previous week". Then mid way the captain announced 4 cases in isolation, but the rumour was that there were up to 13 positive . ...

Having had many cruises on Azamara, most great a few not 100% we planned our return to the high seas post lockdown to be on Azamara. We went with varying expectations - could it be as good as before, might it be less good or could we strike lucky? After all not only had we been seeing the Azamara vessels laid up every time we shopped in a Glasgow shopping centre and worried about them, the ...

First Time Cruise- Azamara Quest Delivered

I had been looking to do a cruise for the past 5 years and finally decided on Azamara Quest for the 18 day Greece-Dubai tour. I had compared and looked at many cruise lines and was intrigued by the ports of call as I had been in Athens 20 years earlier on a backpacking journey using Eurail. I did not want to do this again and really loved the idea of being able to unpack and be on a floating hotel ...

Great small ship

We have always wanted to cruise the Greek isles, without much success. Our crusing experience was limited mostly to Caribbean cruises on larger ships where the specialty dinning was great ,but the regular meals left a loft to be desired. So when our travel agent suggested the Azamara quest from Athens to Venice I was a little skeptical. My experience was totally the opposite. Our ...
