Azamara is back and even better!
"Entertainment was very good with a piano player Maryfer in the Den, The Reaction Band in the Living Room and Cabaret Lounge shows from Amanda Poulson the Cruise Director, Geoffrey Jones her assistant and The Knights a three man group singing British classics. The crew were so good, they really have gelled as a team having come from all three ships to form the crew for Quest...."Read More

Azamara is back and even better!

Review for Azamara Quest to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Having had many cruises on Azamara, most great a few not 100% we planned our return to the high seas post lockdown to be on Azamara. We went with varying expectations - could it be as good as before, might it be less good or could we strike lucky? After all not only had we been seeing the Azamara vessels laid up every time we shopped in a Glasgow shopping centre and worried about them, the ...

First Time Cruise- Azamara Quest Delivered

I had been looking to do a cruise for the past 5 years and finally decided on Azamara Quest for the 18 day Greece-Dubai tour. I had compared and looked at many cruise lines and was intrigued by the ports of call as I had been in Athens 20 years earlier on a backpacking journey using Eurail. I did not want to do this again and really loved the idea of being able to unpack and be on a floating hotel ...

Great small ship

We have always wanted to cruise the Greek isles, without much success. Our crusing experience was limited mostly to Caribbean cruises on larger ships where the specialty dinning was great ,but the regular meals left a loft to be desired. So when our travel agent suggested the Azamara quest from Athens to Venice I was a little skeptical. My experience was totally the opposite. Our ...

This was our 7th cruise on AZ the 5th on the Quest and it entirely lived up to our expectations. very friendly crew, some of whom remembered us from previous cruises. Itinerary was one we wanted to do Athens to Venice. Lovely ports of call but it was little too hot from a personal point of view. Most were tender ports which added a sense of more adventure to the trip. Ship was its usual good ...

We are a couple in our mid-60's. We must have been on over 25 cruises (NCL, Costa,Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, Crystal, Regent). It was on a Celebrity cruise when we met a couple who said they absolutely loved Azamara. So we decided to give it a try and took our first cruise on the Azamara Journey last year to Italy. We just went on our second cruise to the Greek Isles on the Azamara ...

Great Cruise

The advantages of going on a small cruise ship is its easy to get on and off without a huge crowd. Checkin was easy so was disembarking and finding your luggage. The crew as usual was great, helpful visible, the ship was spotless, service was impeccable as always. This was an unusual cruise with 3 large groups totaling over 200, all American and young. This changed the vibe of the cruise, ...

I belong to the Pentagon SKI club which has been on several Azamara cruises. They are in a class of their own.The low key sophistication creates an ambiance which I feel was responsible that the first words to my daughter upon returning to Wash. DC were:this was the best trip ever, despite the fact that one in our group passed away during a visit to Chania. The memorial Service on Deck 10 with the ...

We have been reading on these boards that Azamara ships are to be used for group bookings more frequently next year and that for nine weeks Quest is already chartered and shows as Full in the calendar. On this cruise from Athens to Istanbul we learned that around 500 of the passengers were part of a group organised by a Christian organisation called Educational Opportunities to study the second ...

Athens to Venice on Azamara Quest

Our cruise on Azamara Quest from Athens to Venice was our second cruise - the first being a short trip on Carnival which was more about being with friends and family than the ports of call. We enjoyed our experience and knew we'd want to cruise again. After being on Azamara, we're spoiled. I can't imagine sailing on a larger ship. The senior staff on the Quest was excellent - very friendly ...

Although CDG did a good job subverting my excellent mental state on our return to the States, I am still having trouble adjusting to life off of the Quest. We are a couple, 50 and 62, who have sailed 8 times on Princess, RCL and Seabourn. The last two years we have been seeking a cruise line with better food and less herding than the larger ships. This was our first Azamara cruise and it was as ...
