We choose to do a back to back (this was the first leg of the trip) on the Queen Elizabeth having previously (pre-pandemic) traveled on the Queen Mary on a transatlantic. We were a bit hesitant given the wonderful time we had on the Queen Mary, trying to manage expectations etc., but we were totally and completely overjoyed with the Queen Elizabeth.

First, the cabin is outdated and lack of maintainence. The shower room is very small and full of watermark at the edge. Very unpleasant. The bathtub is good size but yellowish. The ship was nice and the captain actually made time each day to walk around and speak to the passengers. I also liked the way the captain kept the ship informed each day with daily updates from the bridge on weather and port calls.

Doubtless, this is a comfortable and clean ship with excellent cabins ( apart from a hard mattress ) and has some very obliging crew, especially the butler and cleaner assigned to our suite.
