Never one to rest on its considerable laurels, Viking River Cruises has earned a reputation for rapid growth within the cruise industry.

The river cruise line famously won the Guinness Book of World Records' designation for the most ship christenings in one day, back in 2014 when it launched 14 of its signature Longships in a single day. Growth hasn't slowed since then, as the line tries to add multiple new river cruise ships every year, which means passengers are more likely than not to get a spanking new boat.

Here are the newest Viking river ships.
