Choosing a Disney Cruise Line ship for your next family vacation means scoring a ton of fun perks, including premium entertainment, delicious dining options and a variety of activities everyone will enjoy. For the thrill-seekers on your trip, book a cruise on Disney Dream, Fantasy or Magic to experience two of the cruise line's onboard water rides: the AquaDuck and AquaDunk. Check out the differences between two below, along with height requirements and what to expect on the rides.

What are Disney AquaDuck and AquaDunk?

Disney's AquaDuck was the first of the two rides as part of Disney Dream and Fantasy when they were first built. Though it's described as a water slide, it's technically a water coaster because you ride through a transparent, acrylic tube on a two-person raft. Highlights of the four-deck-high ride include a section that juts out from the ship's side, 150 feet above the ocean. You'll also careen through the ship's funnel (kids in the tween club, Edge, have a viewing porthole to watch you slide past). After the launch of AquaDuck, Disney decided to add an upper-deck water feature to Disney Magic.

When the cruise line renovated the ship, it added the more thrilling AquaDunk ride, which is a true water slide as it does not have a raft. You step inside the slide's capsule-like entrance and count down until the floor opens beneath you, sending you on a plummet straight down. Then, you curve around over the side of the ship, before splashing down several decks below.

What Are the Height Requirements for the AquaDuck and AquaDunk?

You must be at least 42 inches tall to ride the AquaDuck and at least 48 inches tall to ride the AquaDunk.

What Do AquaDuck and AquaDunk Cost?

Riding Disney Cruise Line's AquaDuck and AquaDunk is included in the cost of your cruise.

Which Ships Have the AquaDuck and AquaDunk?

The AquaDuck is found on Disney Dream and Fantasy. The AquaDunk is on Disney Magic.
