Cabin A131

Essentially the cabin was a good size and just about adequate for what we needed. Our sofa did have drawers which we definitely needed to store some of the many things we seem to carry with us.I don't think that many of the cabins had this type of sofa. There were some minor stains on the carpet and some 'trial' bits of fluff we left on the carpet were still there after our cabin had been cleaned. This wasn't much of a surprise given the number of cabins the steward has to clean. Overall, I'd say the cabin was OK. Not luxurious, just OK.

What a lovely surprise By: Heather681
Lots of wardrobe space. Comfortable bed. Balcony needed some varnish. Clean. Good shower. However, could do with some modernisation and redecorating. Floor tiles and sink chipped.

A Cheerful Ship By: Teddygate
This was an aft facing balcony cabin. Rather larger than many balcony cabins we have had from other lines, it had a small bath and shower over. Good quality bits and pieces in the bathroom. We appreciated the provision of a world atlas and binoculars. Slightly disappointed that account information cannot be retrieved over the television. Coffee and tea facilities and a fridge, which was useful. The steward was outstanding and the cabin kept immaculately clean

Cabin D148

CABIN (balcony cabin on D deck, port side) was clean, with shower over bath and storage fine (it is dark by the wardrobes, so you need to put the light on to see properly). Toiletries provided. Lovely fluffy towels; very comfortable bed. Large TV screen, a number of films playing on a loop (so you cant choose when to watch); DVD only in suites. Information channel, Arcadia radio channel, shore excursion channel and recording of guest speakers talks. Lovely Cabin Steward.

A Little Disappointing By: navman141
Sold to us as a 'fully adapted' cabin (my wife is wheelchair bound) but disappointing. Putting as handrail around the bathroom and a seat in the shower doesn't make it fully adapted. However, we coped. Rather an odd shaped cabin with an odd shaped balcony. A struggle to get the wheelchair on to the balcony because of a heavy self closing door.

Cabin B136

Cabin B136 This cabin is located in a fairly quiet position Port side aft. It is located opposite a store cupboard but that was not bothersome, however just down the passageway there is crew staircase and it might be this that causes an occasional smell of cooking in the early mornings and evenings. Some of the cabin wall coverings have been patched (rather badly). The bathroom backs onto the bathroom of B134 and appeared to be better insulated for noise than the average cruise ship bathroom. The shower is over the bath, the shower attachment was rather worn and looked like it should have been replaced. One possible problem is noise from B140, the party wall between the cabins is rather poorly insulated for noise.

Cabin functional enough. Comfy bed and pillows. AC a pain as you cannot turn it off. Balcony not nice, dark and small.

Great value By: kbinbkk
A comfortable room with plenty of storage and a huge, very comfortable bed. Very clean and a super room steward (Francis). Good tea and coffee, chocolate on each pillow every night, toiletries from The White Company, bath/shower, safe, fridge, hair dryer, comfortable sofa. A great cabin close to the stairs and just one deck below the Belvedere (but 5 decks down to the Palladium etc.).

Cabin A147

This cabin was of decent size and layout. The furnishings and cupborad space was excellent. The bed comfortable and it was nice to have a lounge to sit on with table close by as well as a spacious balcony. There is enough room at the desk to sit and get wifi on your laptop. There are a few minor cosmetic marks in the cabin but no more than the average land based hotel.

Pleasant if not somewhat small though had all that was needed with nice bathroom. Super balcony with sunbathing space, tea and coffee making facility useful, and plenty of cupboard space, really all we needed.
