1-10 of 45 Princess Cruise Reviews for Senior Cruises to Alaska from Anchorage
Our first Princess cruise did not disappoint. We had a club class suite ob deck 12 with a wonderful balcony and a beautiful suite. Huge closet with many hangers and drawers with a safe. The bathroom was big and very nice. There was a long shelf under the sink for all your extra things and bags. The tub was deep and really nice as was the shower. Our new luxury bed was exactly that. Wow it was so ...
We were two families with three kids total, ages 15, 14 and 9. Having read some of the recent negative reviews, we kept our expectations low but they were all greatly exceeded. From the moment we stepped on the ship, the staff members were friendly and helpful. Because it’s such a small ship, many of them got to know us personally and addressed us by name. We found the ship in great condition ...
My family and I wanted to experience Alaska and Vancouver. We did the 3 day land excursion and seven day cruise on the Coral Princess. Words cannot describe the overall amazing experience we had. It was surreal from the land, the ship, entertainment and dining perspective. The views Princess afforded us on land at each lodge and during transportation throughout Denali National Park was unsurpassed ...
We took the land part of the cruise first and then rode the train to Whittier where we boarded the ship. The medallion use on the ship was so easy to set up and use. It was so nice not to have a key to board or to open your stateroom door. Embarking and disembarking was easy with the medallion. The ship is huge. It is easy to get lost but the crew is very helpful if that should happen. The ...
We wanted to take our family on an Alaskan cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. My wife and I had taken this exact same itinerary 10 years ago and we knew from experience our family would enjoy it. Eleven of us did the land tour from Anchorage to Denali before the cruise, and then we were joined by 5 more at the ship for the cruise. We had a total of 16, 8 adults and 8 children. ...
Hadn't cruised for awhile and forgot what I was missing - what a beautiful ship.
Especially enjoyed the Enclave which was a real treat after coming back from the cool weather on shore excursions.
The staff encountered were all warm, helpful and friendly which always helps in enjoying a cruise.
The spa staff were all exceptional - a shout out to the Manager Sophie who does a great job ...
We just returned from a 7-day cruise in Alaska on the Coral Princess. This was my and my husband’s 1st cruise. Some in our group have cruised multiple times. There were 12 in our group of family and friends. Ages ranged from 31-70. (6 couples) Those of us who were first time cruisers were worried about sea sickness; we worried needlessly! This cruise was as smooth as silk. Even our seasoned ...
We just returned from a wonderful cruise to Alaska. We did the land tour first followed by a cruise. Definitely my preferred order. My group loved the size of the Coral Princess. It could get into the bays and near the Glaciers the larger ships can't get near. The staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful.
Try the margaritas in the Crooners Lounge, they are the BEST!
The beds are ...
We took the Southbound cruise from Wittier to Vancouver. We did a land vacation first and took the train from Denali to Wittier to board the ship. The embarkation process was flawless. A Princess representative came on board the train in Anchorage and checked us all in prior to getting to Wittier. Once we arrived in Wittier, we were able to go straight through to security and board the ship ...
We just got back for an amazing cruise to Alaska on the Royal Princess. We were on Marina Deck (15) in a balcony cabin. We loved out location, it was right near the elevator and there was no excessive noise. It was great to just walk up one flight of stairs and we could grab a cup of coffee, a glass of ice tea, or even a little dessert and zip right outside. If you are a smoker, there is a ...
