1-10 of 15 Anchorage Princess Island Princess Cruise Reviews
We wanted to take our family on an Alaskan cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. My wife and I had taken this exact same itinerary 10 years ago and we knew from experience our family would enjoy it. Eleven of us did the land tour from Anchorage to Denali before the cruise, and then we were joined by 5 more at the ship for the cruise. We had a total of 16, 8 adults and 8 children. ...
Highly recommend the Alaska Cruise Tour adventure. (We recommend doing the tour first, then the cruise. Princess is so organized and takes such good care of you.)
We decided to explore a few other cities prior to joining our Cruise Tour. We started in Anchorage, rented a car, and explored the city and surrounding areas (Old Town on 4th street, a quilt shop, and THE BRIDGE for dinner and to ...
We absolutely recommend this cruise! This cruise was on our bucket list and now we want to repeat it! The scenery was breathtaking! Glaciers, mountain ranges, whales... Alaska is a wilderness to be preserved and enjoyed for generations! It is a vast wonderland everyone should experience. The ship and its crew exceeded our expectations. We were pampered and treated with respect by ...
We cruised the inside passage of Alaska for a week. No complaints at all. Our cabin attendant Maria was very pleasant as were all of the waiters and other staff. Our room was refreshed a couple times a day. Plenty of storage space which is very handy. A large picture window so we had a good view. We were on the 5th floor. The shower is very tiny but we made do with it. You get used to it. Also ...
Alaska has been on my bucket-list. Princess tour-cruise (we did land portion first, which was great) and this ship was recommended by a family member who had done the same cruise several years prior. We booked a year prior which had a 'Sip & Sail' offering for mini-suite or above - well worth it! Very, very impressed with seamless organization of entire cruise scheduling (including land portion) ...
I was a little concerned after reading recent reviews of Island Princess, but in reality everything was great. We were among the first to board, having taken the train from Anchorage. For a couple of hours, it was like we had the ship to ourselves. We went straight to our cabins and settled in. I had an aft balcony (B741), which was wonderful, especially when we were leaving port. The bed was ...
We were on the Island Princess starting on 6/6/2018. We started in whittier and ended in Vancouver. We also did 5 days of the land tour which was absolutely terrific. We had wonderful weather except for Skagway and part of the morning in Vancouver. We had such wonderful views of Denali and have some great photos to show off to everyone. I, unfortunately, took most of my pictures from my phone ...
I chose an Alaskan cruise because I am an outdoors type of person and wanted to see the sights before climate change and such make a lot of it disappear. Princess cruise did not disappoint! The Island Princess was beautiful, clean and had many nooks and crannies to get away to, read a book or sip a drink quietly as well as constant live music in the Atrium. You could be as busy or as lazy as you ...
This was our very first cruise - and we were never that interested in cruising, but friends who have cruised Alaska said it was a "must do". They were correct! We did the 3 day land portion through McKinley/Denali, then took the fabulous train from Denali to Whittier to board the Island Princess. The views were all so spectacular and breathtaking. We saw much wildlife - moose, bears, caribou, ...
