We chose Coral princess to take us around Alaska's inner passage because friends recommended it. It is a smaller ship which I think is perfect for Alaska. Our service was good. The way the food is now a days, I make sure we go to a specialty restaurant for really good food. The coupon book you receive first day has a BOGO deal that will save you $25, but must be booked that day. Be sure to book ...
We were two families with three kids total, ages 15, 14 and 9. Having read some of the recent negative reviews, we kept our expectations low but they were all greatly exceeded. From the moment we stepped on the ship, the staff members were friendly and helpful. Because it’s such a small ship, many of them got to know us personally and addressed us by name. We found the ship in great condition ...
My family and I wanted to experience Alaska and Vancouver. We did the 3 day land excursion and seven day cruise on the Coral Princess. Words cannot describe the overall amazing experience we had. It was surreal from the land, the ship, entertainment and dining perspective. The views Princess afforded us on land at each lodge and during transportation throughout Denali National Park was unsurpassed ...
The service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the kindness of crew, the beauty of the ship , everything was so, so pleasant and satisfactory. We choose this cruise because we wanted to see the Hubbard Glacier and took the excursion which was wonderful.
We had the opportunity to interact with other guests when eating at the Bordeaux restaurant that is very elegant. All the meals there were ...
We just returned from a 7-day cruise in Alaska on the Coral Princess. This was my and my husband’s 1st cruise. Some in our group have cruised multiple times. There were 12 in our group of family and friends. Ages ranged from 31-70. (6 couples) Those of us who were first time cruisers were worried about sea sickness; we worried needlessly! This cruise was as smooth as silk. Even our seasoned ...
We just returned from a wonderful cruise to Alaska. We did the land tour first followed by a cruise. Definitely my preferred order. My group loved the size of the Coral Princess. It could get into the bays and near the Glaciers the larger ships can't get near. The staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful.
Try the margaritas in the Crooners Lounge, they are the BEST!
The beds are ...
We booked our cruise through Costco last year. Costco gave us added extras which were very nice.
Prior to the cruise there was 4 day land tour, on your own, which was so very wonderful. We actually liked the land portion more than the cruise, nothing against the cruise however. We were excited about the land portion and absolutely wonderful.
We flew into Fairbanks early in the morning. ...
We chose Princess Cruise to Alaska because of their reputation and presence in that area. We found our mini suite to be clean and comfortable with ample room for the two of us. The Bordeaux dining room was very pleasant, the service first rate and the food was excellent making dinner each evening a real treat. There was more than enough to do on board, we particularly enjoyed the evening ...
Great cruise. Wonderful side excursions. The sailing was very smooth with no rocking. The food was plentiful and delicious. Staff was excellent, especially our steward and the entertainment staff that ran the trivia contests (a favorite of mine). We travelled with a party of 37 including 5 children under 10 years old, and the ship made our dining as group very easy. Boarding and leaving was ...
Traveling with five small children, I was initially wary of an Alaskan cruise, but the Coral Princess and this experience overall has far exceeded my expectations. We were part of a large family trip - 37 of us! And, had my aunt not arranged this trip, I’m not sure I would have spent this time in Alaska. I’m so thankful that my family did the research to put us on this trip - specifically ...
