This was our 8th cruise with Oceania and our first after the pandemic. Some have mentioned that the ship decor is dated, which I agree with, however, I heard they are renovating the ship in a few months. The restaurants were great as usual - my favorite was Jacques. The spa was wonderful and the cooking class was a lot of fun.

We were on the APEX Sept. 11, 2022 for a 12 day repositioning cruise Amsterdam to Rome. Celebrity admitted that the ship was understaffed by 225 crew members, and it showed. Dining service was impacted. One meal took 2.5 hours. Overall, the food seems to have slipped compared to past Celebrity experiences. We sent 3 entrees back for poor quality during the cruise. We chose this cruise primarily for the itinerary given that the ship called in at Bilbao and Cadiz, the two ports on the itinerary which we had not previously visited. We wanted to see the Baltic and were not disappointed. We prefer the relaxed pace of river cruising, also because of the relative ease of getting into port, and the lack of sea days. Our second journey on Marina in three years. This one 12 days vs 26 days on earlier cruise. This itinerary was very port intensive with no at sea days. For a 12 day cruise it was very manageable. We missed one port due to poor tendering weather conditions at Biarritz, so Bilbao had us for an extra day.

Overall we liked this ship. Our interior cabin was smaller than expected but it worked quite fine.
The restaurants were good. The main dining room was ok but very hard to get a table for two. The Lido Market was ok but we found it quite repetitive for lunch.
The pizza counter was good and so was the hamburgers, hot dogs and fries place.
