After 21 Celebrity cruises we were looking forward to this post-Covid cruise. This shows we have previously been very satisfied with the Celebrity product.

Sad to say that it was the problematic PEARL. Rumors of previous problems; and true to form this boat died and we were left stranded on our own about 2/3 thru cruise. Attempts to continue along the Med coastline was cancelled.. This was a 2week cruise covering a lot of ports, thus the reason to book it.

They have to stop the smoking on the ship, the casino smoking goes right up into the BB King area, and infiltrates the whole entertainment area. The ship is clean and the staff remains excellent. The ship is considerably larger than Eurodam and Noordam and feels that way, especially when everyone comes on board after tours.
