Main pool -- nice and warm. Kept it open in medium high seas, too.

The ship and shipboard experience was outstanding. The ports were a little disappointing - we were not able to make the sop in Denmark due to weather but I expected more of the scenery we got on our last port (Flam)
"Even with us buying the Bergen extension we got no walking tour and the only help was the Viking staff in the hotel giving out maps.We had spent 3 days in Amsterdam so then had to find a place to get the test, at our expense, when it seems like the Viking labs could have done that for us because they had us take a test before getting on board anyway!..."Read More

I wanted to see the fjords. I have always wanted to visit Norway. The ship is beautiful. The attention to detail is what makes Viking special. The crew and staff are amazing. I loved the cruise. We could not dock in Flam due to high winds. That made me very sad. I really wanted to take that train ride. I know the world is still coping with Covid but we did have a bit of a hassle with the covid test required before the sailing. We had spent 3 days in Amsterdam so then had to find a place to get the test, at our expense, when it seems like the Viking labs could have done that ...

The cruise was quite good. The ship was in incredibly good shape, the tour directors Edward and Max were excellent. great guided tours on land.Excellent lectures by astronomer Dr Brad Hughes and historian Dr. Bazin. The fjord cruise to Flam was breathtaking. The food was excellent and the crew was incredibly polite and friendly. On our last day, Thursday we interpreted from the brochures that we ...

Norway was on my bucket list and I had an excellent experience with Viking River Cruise a few years ago. Boarding was relatively simple (much simpler than for a larger cruise liner). The room was very nice and the lounge areas were very comfortable. Entertainment was just ok but that was not why we took this cruise so that was alright. I appreciated the excursions and in that respect very similar ...
