More than our expectations

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Viking Baldur

Germany was on our bucket list and this cruise gave us a chance to see multiple cities and revisit Amsterdam. We were initially concerned that we may be to young for something like this (47) but that turned out to be very wrong. We had a Veranda B room and it worked out very well for us. I am not an ocean cruise fan as I do not like large crowds and the constant waiting for everything. River ...

Our Rhine River Getaway had every amenity possible and the added touches of the staff and crew were simply top notch. We cruised in an Explorer Suite from March 27, 2022 to Apr 3, 2022. The food was expertly prepared at each meal. The choices of local cuisine at each port we also so tasty that I tried each one. I also recommend the Silver Spirits Beverage package as it allows for many choices ...

We really enjoyed a previous cruise and wanted to see sights between Amsterdam and Budapest. We really enjoyed the cruise; the crew, food, and ship were wonderful. The daily tours with the local guides were great. We appreciated the complimentary upgrade and benefits of sailing in a suite. The size of the ship and number of passengers on board were conducive to building friendships and ...

What an incredible experience from Amsterdam to Prague. We saw so much of Europe. The staff was phenomenal and top notch all the way. The food was exquisite. If you had any food issues they were taken care of. The always had a chef to make you a omelette in the morning. The hearty breakfast was great. So much fresh fruit and pastry. The staff always had great tour guides available. They were ...

The service was utterly spectacular. The cabin was comfortable and everything always worked. The food was excellent. All of our guides were very knowledgeable and excursions were wonderful. I will definitely cruise with Viking again. We saw both large cities in small towns. On our tours there was enough time to see interesting sites and also enough time for independent meandering about ...

Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, we selected our 2nd Viking River Cruise for the Grand European Cruise. Started off on the wrong foot as we had selected a pre-excursion visit to Prague but missed flight to JFK due to weather. Arrived a day late, but Viking rep was right on sight to meet us and provide transportation to Prague Hotel. Local rep provided us with "make-up" tours and we had a ...

Our Program Director, David, was absolutely marvelous. He made the trip so personal and so special. Everyone loved him, especially his British accent. I would love to cruise with him again. All staff members - waiters, bartenders, hotel manager, housekeeping, etc. were 5-star. They provided personal, friendly, timely service. Each night the food was absolutely delicious and we loved all the ...

Everything about the Tulips and Windmills Cruise was great, beginning with the Pulitzer Amsterdam Hotel, the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank Museum and several other museums we visited before the cruise. The ship and our cabin and private deck were spacious and lovely. The service provided by the crew and tour guides was excellent. All meals on the ship and at ports of call were delicious. The ...

This was my first Viking Cruise and it exceeded my expectations. This was the Windmills and Tulips tour that included stops in The Netherlands and Belgium. The tours were fun and informative. The ship was wonderful. I loved the intimate feeling of less than 200 passengers...met just about everyone before the trip was finished. Are far too much wonderful food. The staff were helpful, attentive and ...

My wife has always wanted to see the Keukenhof Gardens so we selected this cruise. We had never been on a cruise before so we didn't know what to expect but we had a wonderful time. I would do it again -- and, in fact we are planning a Russia cruise on Viking next year. The Baldur is great. We had a mid size cabin with a little balcony, I recommend that since it gives you a bit more room to ...
