Disappointing, considering their own marketing

This was our first river cruise and we worried it would be too small and slow for us. And it was. We're very active, independent, well-traveled cruisers. We chose Uniworld based on its ratings and claims, and because we liked this itinerary plus the all-inclusive package. While we had some lovely experiences, saw some darling towns and met some special people (most from Down Under), we were ...

A great vacation, with a few bends in the river

My husband and I chose this as a vacation in honor of our 35th anniversary. It did not disappoint! This was our first experience with river cruising. We were boarding in Amsterdam and arranged three days of our own visit to Amsterdam prior to arriving at the ship. (This was not a Uniworld "extension," just our own trip.) Uniworld lived up to its reviews and reputation and gave us a great ...

This was our first river cruise and we chose Uniworld because of its all inclusive nature. We booked our own travel and stayed for 3 nights in Amsterdam prior to boarding the ship. When we did board mid day, we were welcomed and shown around and encouraged to partake of the lounge offerings and lunch (and on the day of debarkation the guests were encouraged again to stay for lunch and hang out in ...

We chose this cruise to see the tulips at Keukenhof Gardens. This was our second Uniworld cruise and it was wonderful. Our first cruise was on the Maria Theresa and we wondered whether Uniworld’s excellent service would continue. It did. This cruise was on the River Princess which holds 130 guests and 41 crew. There were only 78 passengers and nothing ever felt crowded. The entire crew was ...

Amsterdam to Budapest -15 day cruise First the ship and crew; Cruise through Europe with a 5 star hotel on a ship. The crew were first rate and professional. Cabins were cleaned twice a day after breakfast and dinner meals. The ship was kept spotless. Cabins were a decent size but bathrooms were small. Monica, the tour manager was outstanding and deserves special recognition. Uniworld really is ...

Have just returned from an excellent cruise aboard the River Princess, commencing in Amsterdam, moored just behind the Central Station, so very convenient; We travelled independently as we already live in Europe, so this review is just about the cruise itself. The boat was exactly as described on Uniworld's website, and the cabin, which was on the starboard side (highly desirable on rivers/canals ...
