My sister celebrated her 71st Birthday on the ship - the cabin team helped make her day extremely memorable! We were all "over the moon" surprised! Never been on a Cruise line that went to this extent before!!! Well done Oceania!

Great but could do better.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Marina

This is our second cruise with Oceania – we were quite delighted with our previous trip last year cruising the Aegean and so re-booked this cruise around the Baltic and its wonderful destinations. The ship has continued to live up to its high standards with stunning rooms and suites, with the attention to detail fixtures and fittings top notch. We were in one of the penthouse suites. We have ...

We made a spur of the moment decision to go and it was one of the best last minute decisions. Our friends had already booked the cruise and because of their excitement about the cruise and it's destination ports,we went. Our experience started with the gracious and well trained staff that were always helpful. The accommodations were great with a lot of closet space. Our stateroom was ...

Oceania fouled up their shore operations again. Shuttles into Bilbao from ship around lunchtime were on a 40 minute to one hour schedule. We left our stateroom with sufficient time to debark, walk to the terminal and catch a shuttle. We were not informed that the gangway was being moved and we were held up for about ten minutes while the gangway was shifted to to tides. We missed the shuttle ...

The ship itself is well appointed and very well run. The food is VERY good....no question. There are 4 specialty restaurants on board. Red Ginger and Jacques are excellent, the Italian was ok and Polo was just ok. Our cabin was quite comfortable...good closet and storage. Bathroom was great. Terrific storage!! Good tub. Shower stall was too short for my very tall husband, 6'5", but he could ...

Excellent ship, but poor excursions reduced the value of the cruise.

We are a retired couple that took the cruise for the 20 port visits, with the expectation that we would see and enjoy many new places. The ship itself was excellent. Embarkation was easy and the veranda stateroom was large enough to be comfortable for the long cruise. The food and service was excellent and the fitness room was large enough for the number of people using it. Unfortunately, ...

Dashed Expectations

I was looking forward to cruising on Oceania because of it's reputation for excellent food and Customer service. I was sorely disappointed! The food was mediocre at best. Overcooked, bland, boring salads and uninteresting menu choices including the specialty restaurants. The terrace cafe seemed to consistently have the best food on the ship. I paid a lot of money for the beverage package ...

We booked our trip through a travel agent who strongly advised cruising on one of Oceania's new ships. Thankfully, they made advanced reservations in the restaurants. Our meal at Ginger ended with us walking out of the dining room when our entree had not been served in a little over 1 1/2 hours. This through the wait staff in a tail spin. They followed us saying that our meal was now being cooked. ...

We had food and service issues from day 1. Chipped glassware, and a string or hair in my dessert, in the main dining room. Raw hamburgers at the grill for lunch, not once, but twice. Nothing was ever served hot, just warm, and the ice cream was always like mush. We met with the concierge, who was lovely, but wanted us to speak with the 2 food and beverage managers............2 bafoons, who could ...

We sailed on Marina early September 2014 for 12 nights Amsterdam to Barcelona. We have cruised thru the years since 1979 mostly on RCCL and Celebrity. We thought for our 35th wedding anniversary we would splurge with a higher end cruise. Our impressions : The Ship: Marina is a beautiful, understated vessel, we secured a well appointed standard balcony cabin which was larger than industry norm ...

This was my 3rd cruise on Oceania and my 2nd on the Marina. My wife and I were in a Penthouse Suite. We were excited about the itinerary as we had not been to most of the ports. The positives first. The ship looked as good if not better than our original sailing shortly after the ship was 1st put into service. I have rarely found a cleaner ship and it is so well maintained. Our room was perfect ...
