My wife and I selected this cruise because we had heard good things about the value of CroisiEurope and we really wanted to see the Rhine river region. Before taking the cruise we looked at the reviews on this site and other sites and everything was mostly positive - this was our experience as well. We stayed in room 362, which is on the upper deck, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who can afford the extra cost. The room was pretty spacious for a river cruise ship and the big windows meant you could lie in bed and just watch the river go by. We ate almost all our meals onboard. Breakfast was a buffet with breads, eggs, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit everyday. Lunch and Dinner were a variety of things but it is worth noting (as it does on this site) that the boat is French so you need to like that food. There were many Spaniards on our cruise who didn't love the food (or the hours that they served it). Upon check-in you are assigned a table for the whole cruise, these are also the people you go on excursions with. I don't know what you do if you don't like them, we really enjoyed our table-mates. The staff onboard the ship was incredible. They did a great job of looking out for us and also were really accommodating to my wife who was 7 months pregnant. The one thing I have to warn others about is the itinerary - you need to make sure you manage your expectations around it. My wife and I knew that there would be lots of sailing and not a lot of time onshore and that meant that we were very happy with the cruise. There were others onboard who clearly hadn't done their homework and thus they were disappointed by the schedule. Remember, a river cruise boat isn't like an ocean boat - you don't have as much to do on the river boat. You need to bring your own entertainment or enjoy watching the scenery or you could be very bored. Read Less

CroisiEurope is fabulous! We are 100% sold! Our first river cruise but not our last. Upon arriving via train from the airport had no problem finding the ship thanks to the map we were provided and just a short walk to ship. Forget the Amsterdam information center unless you enjoy rude people. Do recommend cabin upgrade the French balcony is priceless while enjoying the Rhine scenery. It was always very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was cozy, but clean and served the purpose. Dining was relaxed and enjoyed every meal, Service was first class. So glad we were all assigned to dining tables thus eliminating any "language issues". Sure our fellow passengers, French and Spanish appreciated this thoughtful touch. The lounge was fabulous in décor, extremely comfortable and elegant. The entire ship was spotless! Evenings were enjoyed in the lounge with music provided by Silverado, dancing, singing and meeting wonderful new friends. Even if you can't speak French or Spanish! Crews entertainment was lots of fun! Thankfully the ship docked right in town no issue with long walks. While buses were always on time for longer excursions or sightseeing. Ladies, don't miss the diamond factory tour! Wish Cologne tour was longer much to see, beautiful city. All ports fabulous. Tours guides helpful and fun, knew all the facts. Sadly, our magical journey ended all too soon in lovely Strasbourg, Yes for extra days here! For the value and price point, CroisiEurope can NOT be beat! We had just retired and this was a major consideration for us. Please don't be fooled by the bogus 2 for 1"offers" advertised by others, guaranteed you will still write the check for double what we paid! Mathew at the call center is excellent and we are already planning our next trip. There motto is " CroisiEurope takes you there for so much less, but we still include it all." Thank you CroisiEurope, dreams do come true because of your dedication and commitment to excellent. Read Less
