Our cabin was larger than most ocean view rooms and had more storage than any category cabin we have had in the past. In fact, there is so much storage that we did not use it all. There is no mini refrig, but the ice bucket was kept full and was all we needed. The cabin shows it's age with rust at the base of the bathroom door frame and a clean but not completely clear window. The A/C is barely adequate. You will need to draw your curtains on warm days if the sun is out. The heat and A/C have slow response times. The bathroom is larger than most, has a big medicine cabinet and a roomy shower with a curtain and a spray head that converts to handheld. There are dispensers on the shower wall for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I found the gel to be a bit harsh and drying--it has a menthol feel. The biggest problem with the shower is the unstable water temperature. If you are showering when many others are doing likewise, the water will need near constant adjustment, and it has a knob rather than a lever which I could not turn with soapy hands. There is good lighting in the bathroom for putting on makeup and a wall mounted hair dryer. There is another hair dryer in a drawer of the vanity/desk outside the bathroom. There is also a wall-mounted adjustable lighted mirror over the desk, but I found even with that, the lighting was not adequate to put on makeup. The bed was a little harder than I like but not bad and the extra pillows I asked for were cheerfully delivered. There are light switches behind the area where you prop pillows to read in bed, so a shift in position would turn the various lights on and off. As many have noted, the outlet in the bathroom is for razors only, and there is only one outlet in the main cabin area, over the desk with a 220 and a 110 outlet. We brought a fast charger that allowed us to plug in our cell phones and it was all we needed. But if you need to use CPAP, for example, you will need to get an extension cord from customer service. Overall, I was pleased with my cabin choice and found it comfortable. Read Less

This cabin was on the promenade deck with the walk way in front of the window. This cabin had a good location and it was easy to get everywhere. This cabin was just so small. The two of us could not get dressed in the hallway of the room at the same time. One of us had to wait on the bed. The bed took up the whole room. No one could see in the cabin window during the day, however, at night make sure your drapes are closed as people could see in clearly. Read Less

We waited for the last minute deal on this cruise so had limited choice of cabins. I was pleasantly surprised! This cabin is near the front with two portholes. If the beds are in the twin configuration I don't think you'd have any space issues. In the king bed configuration, you do have to squeeze a bit between the love seat on one side and the desk on the other when getting in and out of bed. There is only one outlet but a triple plug-in was already in place (I didn't need to bring the power strip with me). (I also saw the front desk signing out power strips - probably on a first come, first served basis). There was a bit of rust in one corner of the bathroom and a bit around the portholes. Otherwise, the room was kept very clean by our wonderful stewards (Made and Tri). We only had one somewhat rocky day but the room being so low in the ship helped mitigate that. This cabin is directly across from the infirmary reception area which can make for some interesting encounters when you're coming and going. Read Less

G2501 is the cabin that is the most forward on the ship located on the Main Deck 2. It's a double porthole cabin and seemed to be somewhat larger than the other Oceanview cabins. Only one cabin next to us on one side and nothing on the other side. Very comfortable as it was super quiet. The beds were superb. You do have more motion due to the location. However, that did not bother us. There is a long walk from all the way forward to all the way Aft and up 6 decks to the dining. That didn't concern us as we enjoy walking and never took elevators the entire cruise. We were so very happy with the choosing of this cabin. Read Less

We took a clear shoe bag to hang over bathroom door and found it very helpful with organization and storage. Closet space and number of hangers were adequate. There was room for the oxygen concentrator, wheel chair, walker and various monitoring equipment needed in this handicap accessible room. The shower seat and hand held shower head worked beautifully. Mold on the floor of the shower was immediately removed when called to the attention of the cabin attendants. Extra blankets were immediately brought when requested from the cabin attendants. The cabin attendants introduced themselves on the 1st day and greated us by name after that first meeting. Read Less
