Cabin 3401

Cozy, comfortable, and close to an exterior doorway. The beds and linens were lovely. The bathroom shows a bit of wear, as the ship is older, but overall, we were very pleased!

Cabin 2555
Sep 2012
CABIN Although neither of us is handicapped, we took a handicap room (# 2555) because it was available. These rooms are generally about twice the size of an ordinary room and have very large bathrooms with large showers. They cost the same as any other inside room, but are like having a suite. The room had a king size bed with about four feet of space to the wall on each side. I thought the bed was very comfortable, but my wife did not agree. There was a couch, table and two chairs plus about 9 feet of closet space. Night stands on each side of the bed had two drawers. Additional drawers were in the vanity, but there were not enough drawers for two people. The closets had to shelves to make up for the lack of drawers. The cabin was well located on deck two close to the forward elevators, but we were not bothered by any noise from them. We were only a short distance from the exit door usually used for disembarking at various ports. The main showroom was just two floors above us. It was very convenient to get to this room or the observation lounge on the top deck of the ship. It was a little farther to walk to the main dining room at the other end of the ship. The front desk was just two decks above us.

Great mid-ship location, quiet, convenient to laundry room and elevators. Several plumbing problems were encountered but taken care of promptly after being reported. Plenty of storage, bed was very comfortable (we like plush) and pillows crunch-able like we like them.Plenty of storage-we had 4 large bags. Plenty of hangers. I recommend this location and room for an inside cabin. We will request it again.

Surprisingly spacious! Good closet space, drawer space. Very comfortable bed, extremely clean linens. Not a lot of walk-space around the bed, however.

A wonderful cruise By: Watson's aunt
cabin was wonderful beds were very conforable lots of pillows. Temp controls in room was excellent. there were plentaly of lighting and I wish I had this much storage at home. Room was always spotless. I had ice every night and turn down was exciting as They had towel animals and it was exciting to see what kind I had that night. I had up to 5 one night as I placed them behind my bed. I know people don't like them but I love them. room was very quite I never heard a noise outside. the tv was a bit of a problem the tv is placed high on self. You had to stand up and point at tv a certain way. I never watched much tv but to see where we were and some news and sports scores. But this is a very minor problem My room was near self laundry and near stairs and elevators. I would book this room in a heartbeat. I did not mind having a view but at times I did but you really need to be on deck to see both sides of ship. Mary

Cabin 3425
May 2010
Spacious large inside cabin, K3245, 182 sf with excellent layout, & beautiful decor. Bathrooms amenities and space was great. Excellent storage with a total of 5 drawers and 5 closets. Good sound proofing as we didn't hear our neighbors at all. However, being so close to the stern, on the first night there was vibration and noise as we steamed north near top speed of 22 knots into building seas and near gale force winds. I think that combination of aft location, weather and speed, proximity to propellers produced this. Other nights were fine as the cabin was quieter with little vibration and hardly any noise. The first night I was up two or three times trying to find out what was vibrating. Put some paper between the TV and wall which helped some.

Not quite what we expected By: sbettencourt
Inside cabin. Great room - especially for the price! We booked several months in advance. There was a ton of closet space. I don't think I used all of it. I'm careful to look what is above us when booking a room. I've heard/read some bad experiences about being below or above the club. Our room was quiet as can be besides the creaks when the weather wasn't behaving. The bathroom was perfect for us. Just a shower - no tub. I don't like having to blow dry and curl my hair at the dressor, by the bed. But I'm forced to do so because there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom. This seems to be standard with all cruise lines. I like to let my husband get a few more zzzz's while I get ready. This isn't possible when I'm blow driving right next to him. Oh well. We were satisfied with our room!

our cabin was inside, next to the laundry. We sometime heard the dryer going around, but fairly quiet. It was very convenient on laundry days. The cabin was small not enough closet space. Quiet hallway.
