Excellent Chesapeake Bay Cruise

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on American Constitution

I overpacked. NOBODY “dresses” for dinner. Three dresses hung in the closet and were never worn. Everyone dressed neatly but casually. The guest laundry was available, and I did laundry twice in the trip. Embarkation was well managed. We stood on a line for a few minutes to take our (negative) Covid tests, then went right onboard. Our luggage was waiting in our room. Easy! Our AAC ...

Amazing River Cruise

The Columbia/Snake river on The American Pride was truly amazing. We had an incredible crew that took care of us. The speaker, David Miller not only delivered a great lecture on Lewis and Clark expedition, but enhanced our experience by displaying artifacts and foliage of the region. David gave us information about the many locks we went through. Lots of historical facts. Arts and crafts classes ...

My wife and I have been on numerous cruises (23+) throughout the world on various cruise lines over the years. This was our first cruise on American Cruise Lines. The Hudson River Cruise started in New York City on October 9, 2021. This was our first trip out of state in 19 months because of COVID 19. Our flight from Florida arrived a few days early so we could visit friends. We took an ...

Another Fantastic Cruise with American Cruise Lines

This was my 5th cruise with American Cruise Lines. We cruised through Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands on this trip. We were supposed to go October of 2020, but that cruise was cancelled. So the first thing to know is that I have enjoyed every single cruise I have been on with this company. They must treat their employees well because they seem to be a happy bunch. I love the educational ...

Fantastic Cruise with an Incredible Crew

My husband and I -- both frequent travelers with American Cruises Lines -- had a wonderful time cruising the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands. Since we are from the East Coast, these two weeks gave us the opportunity to visit a part of the country with which we were unfamiliar. And, because of the length of the journey, we got a chance to participate in lots of wonderful excursions. Getting a ...

Puget Sound & The San Juan Islands

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on American Spirit

My husband and I had a wonderful time cruising the Sound and visiting the San Juan Islands with American Cruise Lines. While there was always whale watching during the cruise itself, nevertheless there was a special outing to view these wonderful creatures. Additionally, other excursions of special note were the visit to the animal farm (a must see!) and the tour to Lake Crescent Lodge which ...

Just returned from an American Cruise Line trip on board their ship Constitution. The Hudson River cruise was round trip starting in Manhattan, NY to Albany, NY and return. This was my 5th cruise with ACL. The Constitution is one of ACL's newer vessels built in 2018. It's a beauty! The accommodations were top notch. The public spaces were bright and cheery. On board activities were plentiful and ...

A Fabulous Time Amid the Chaos!

I made a couple of posts on the American Cruise Lines Group before our 8/23 Grand New England Cruise expressing concern over whether it could live up to the fabulous experience we had with Viking on our first cruise two years ago after reading so many brutal reviews on Yelp and Cruise Critic. Well, about everything went wrong on this cruise that could go wrong and we had an absolutely fabulous ...

In spite of Covid, this was still a great cruise with ACL

My husband and I are from the East coast, state of Maine, and wanted to experience more of the West coast as much as possible. We had booked a trip with ACL to Alaska in 2020, along with a train trip at the end, and of course they were cancelled. Did some research and decided on the Puget Sound and San Juan Island Cruise. We were blown away with the different kinds of scenery that we saw each day ...

Wonderful trip!

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on American West (formerly Queen of the West)

I loved American cruises so much that I just came back from a second one. I took one earlier this year. I felt safe from Covid- everyone has been vaccinated on board, and we all had covid tests before embarkation. That made for a very comfortable, secure trip. It's nice to get to travel after all this time and not feel worried about the virus. The ship itself had a lot of old world charm. ...
