American Cruise Line is our favorite line. I love the smaller number of passengers. The ships are lovely. Service is superior. Food is delectable, and we enjoyed the 1/2 portions! The cocktail hour is a big fun plus! The elevators were most important to me.
This time we went to Seattle for the Puget Sound Cruise. On a pre-cruise package, we stayed at a beautiful Sheraton Hotel on Friday ...
Set this up so that we could visit Idaho for the total eclipse two days after the cruise docked. Informative history lectures about Lewis and Clark and the area were great. Meals could have offered a little more variety but were timely, well prepared and presented well. Staff and captain were excellent and very friendly. I was not concerned about poor cell service, this was a vacation and I ...
We selected theLewis & Clark itinerary. Overall we were pleased but size & lack of decor in cabin was disappointing. Very small single closet for 2 people. No place to store suitcases Only 3 drawers. Balcony is small & has 2 cheap chairs & 1 small table. This is an expensive cruise & since we only drink 1-2 glasses of wine per day the included free drinks was not necessary. The staff & food was ...
The size of the ship was a selling point. It wasn't large. We were able to disembark smoothly at various ports and explore them. Ships' crew was the best!. Very helpful and fantastic at what they did. We felt like royalty. The cruse director Natalie kept us running smoothly. One day we played bingo on Board and we got prizes!!
Dining was fantastic. Majority of food served was locally ...
We saw your advertisement on TV and decided to investigate. What a great choice we made, the journey on the Columbia River and the Snake River was glorious even though we are "local". Saw things that we had never seen before. What a great staff you have from getting us on board, housekeeping, dining staff, managers, all the way through to the Captain. All were delightful and made us feel at ...
We wanted a river boat cruise experience as we are familiar with the big boat cruises. It was delightful. Fewer people & we were able to meet more of them. The ship is the oldest in the American Cruise lines fleet. It should be remodeled- it looks a bit dated! Cabin size was fine but for the most expensive rom - I would have thought it to be a bit bigger...again this is the oldest ship in their ...
Wanted to see the Columbia and Snake rivers. While this boat was an older one and cabins were a bit small, the overall trip was excellent throughout the cruise, from top to bottom, from the captain to the daily servers, cruise and hotel director to cabin attendants. We've traveled extensively internationally and domestically, and we can say the service was as good as it gets.. Also, ...
We've traveled on American Cruise Lines twice before and enjoyed the service and itineraries and have always wanted to see this part of the US. We have a preference for seeing our own great country - and have been to all 50 states, in addition to traveling to several other countries.
The small ship experience (just over 80 passengers this time) allows us to get to know the crew, the staff, ...
My wife chose this as our first cruise. I follow the History of the American West and my interest was peaked. God made all the reservations and everything as this was her first vacation planning adventure. We came to relax and let Miss America solve World Peace and World Hunger as she was more qualified than us. Very good trip with open seating for all meals. You were NOT assigned a table. ...
My husband and I have always wanted to go into British Columbia to see the beautiful Butchart Gardens in Victoria. This was a perfect way to do it.
From the time that we arrived at the ship until we got off the experience was wonderful. The staff, the food, even the rooms were great...American Cruise line has a good grasp of knowing what the more mature folks want in a cruise for length, the ...
