This review will highlight the faults and problems that we encountered and that we feel reflect badly on Ambassador and Ambience – we have given Ambassador two weeks to respond to an e-mail detailing most of these, but without a response so far. I would not recommend a cruise on Ambience. • Background Information and Booking o We are a couple in our 70s who have cruised at least once most ...

I have recently returned from a cruise on the ship Ambience with Ambassador Cruises. It was a no fly cruise from Tilbuy to Canada, Greenland and Iceland. From the start there were problems. As we have sailed with 6 very different cruise lines, varying from the high class to the expedition type, well known family ships as well as a couple of cruise lines aimed at the over 50s and mainly adult only, I felt we were well appointed to form an opinion of the new Ambassador Cruise Line and their first ship, Ambience. We have never chosen to cruise on a ship much over 3000 passenger size as ...

A lot of the ports we couldnt get into because of the hurricanes but thats not the fault of the ship!! The cabin I had to myself was very spacious and whilst some of the passengers were complaining about the heating system mine seemed to be working alright. I thought the food on the ship was very good and always something to please-especially in the cafe upstairs. The worst thing was the ...

We originally booked a very similar cruise on C M V that went out of business - we particularly wanted to visit Halifax and Sydney ( Nova Scotia ) due to a hurricane we did not get to either one. Embarkation was lengthy and disorganised - not the 5 minutes they claim on the internet. Our cabin was so hot on arrival we could not stay in it - 9140 - after complaining at reception - on our return ...
