Always something to do while at sea!
"On one night, we ate at a specialty restaurant, the Hibachi place (can't recall the name), but it was no better than the place we have back home, so, not worth the upcharge.I had paid for three fitness classes, but was the only attendee in the first one, so I got personal attention which is great for me in a yoga class since I always need them to slow down...."Read More

Boring!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Allure of the Seas

If you want a more "stodgy" cruise experience, this ship/line is your best bet. My husband and I (almost retired), were entirely bored the whole week. Mediocre music (nothing I've ever heard before), that was loud and annoying (not a single person dancing, or looking like they were having fun). Food was "OK", but try getting anything after lunch....nope. Everything closes. Entertainment.....ok ...

Been on Allure before and loved the ship! Specifically chose this cruise since over husband’s birthday. Port checkin was a disaster. All computers went down just as processing began with first agent. No one knew what to do. Finally was escorted to the desk agent and she was clueless. Another circulated saying to write down passenger name and cabin number. Then let them board. We walked on while ...

Here is your review: We are diamond club members and had many cruises with Royal Caribbean. On our seven days cruise on 8/28/22, the built-in numbered lock on our original old timer hard shell 31" Samsonite was broken and wouldn't open. The ship maintenance ( 3 men) tried to open it and broke the lock. They wrote the report to the Senior Guest Officer. The built-in lock can not be replaced, and ...

The good and the bad

Our 3 generational family of 11 wanted to go on a mega ship. Some parts were great; others disappointing. The Aqua Theater show was wonderful. The ice show was a disappointment compared to the ice show that we saw on the Freedom in 2020 that used drones. This show was based on the board game Monopoly and was a yawn. It was disappointing that there weren't more variety/entertainment shows in ...

Let me start by saying, this is my fourth cruise, but it has been 14 years since I have been on a cruise. I need to do it more! I travelled with a first time cruiser, and he certainly wants to do it again! I think Royal Caribbean is the best cruise line I've ever used. Cabin-- 4 of 5 stars. See below. Public spaces- The public spaces were always clean, well-decorated, and inviting. ...

Disloyal to Royal

My wife and I were looking for a cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had been on a recent cruise on the same ship. Royal had done a pretty good job of trying to keep cruisers safe from the Pandemic on that one. This time it was totally different. No pandemic protocols whatsoever. Children under 11 free and no vaccination required. So we spent 8 days in a full ship, cramped quarters, ...

Great First Post-Covid Cruise Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We booked a Western Caribbean Cruise on Allure of the Seas in March 2022 primarily because of the Cruise with Confidence Guarantee, plus the fact that the ship was at reduced capacity. I had looked into other cruise lines that offer free WiFi and alcoholic beverages, but we've sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past and have always had a great experience. This cruise was no exception. ...

This may be long but I found very little recent information all in one place in my research prior to departure, so here is a detailed review. We boarded out of Fort Lauderdale and our boarding time was 11:30am, we were told that they enforced this and I understand why, it regulated the flow and reduced large public gatherings (which is quite comical based on later events while on board). The ...

Great Oasis Class ship. Experienced her for 12 days just before she goes to dry dock for amp. Cant wait to see her in 2021 from Galveston. The Allure overall had the best most consistent and good quality food of any RCCL ship we have been on. The Sabor Grill was amazing. Considering we were on one of the very last ships sailing, the crews dedication to keeping the ship disinfected was ...

Despite the mounting tension from the alarming ship news channels it was still an enjoyable TransAtlantic/Repostioning cruise: this ship has everything. Lots to do, lottsa of elbow room on the massive 220,000 ton Allure of the Seas: climbing walls, putt-putt golf, a full park/arboretum, awesome entertainment (had a 2.5 hour Broadway-quality ‘Momma Mia’ production and several excellent ...
