Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

I have cruised on NCL and then on Royal Caribbean's Oasis and the Allure of the Seas and nothing compares to the size, quality or professionalism on the Royal Caribbean ships. It is amazing to see that the crew after being on the ship for months and working 7 days a week straight still treat you with kindness and haven't thrown you overboard. We work five and are dying to get out of everyone's ...

This was our 5th cruise, first time on Royal Caribbean. We chose the ship because we wanted a different cruise experience. Embarkation was a piece of cake. Tip: get to the terminal early if you can. We flew through the check In process at 11am on a Sunday. Another tip: After a buffet lunch at Windjammer, head to the Solarium Deck 15 if you want to read, have a drink and have very few people ...

We flew down to Ft. Lauderdale the day before embarkation. We were on the ship by 11:30. Rooms are not ready until early afternoon so we walked around the ship a bit and then changed into swim suits and went to one of 4 main pools on deck 15. When we went to our stateroom at 1:00 our luggage was already there! Typically we don't get luggage until early evening! Our room steward was great, ...

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th Anniversary with our kids and grandkids (a total of 11 people.) Royal Caribbean was recommended to us by our travel agent. He indicated that the Western Caribbean Cruise would be much more enjoyable for our six grandkids ranging in age from 12-17, as there were SO many shore excursions to choose from. We did excursions in each port Labadee, Haiti; ...

Great trip with extended family

My wife and her sister set up this trip, and we got to spend time with her sister's husband, daughter, and grandkids. Allure had great programs for the 4-year-old boy, and he's a bit spoiled but the ship's people handled him very well. The day-care staff was wonderful. Allure has a teen club and the 14 and 16 year old boys loved it. The teens in particular were provided with things that kept ...

40th wedding anniversary cruise. We were made to feel special at every dinner we signed up for, in the main dining room or a specialty restaurant. Do not miss the Trellis bar with Kim and Aly "The Boss", or the Bow and Stern Pub with music by Rob. Go see Aly at the Trellis bar and ask her to make you "Something Yummy", and tell her "Bill Clinton" sent you!! The ship is absolutely amazing, with ...

I travel with a party of 17 which included passengers of all ages (9 - 82 years old). I chose the cruise because everyone said how great the ship experience was for them. And it didn't disappoint. Great entertainment, especially for an active family. My Time restaurant (American Icon) food was excellent. In my opinion, no specialty dinning is required. Shows were outstanding and very ...

Been on the Allure before, also the Oasis. Love them. Needed a quick getaway, so booked only a few weeks before. As always, crew and staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. Our excursion in Cozumel with Flora and Alex with "Tripping Cool" was terrific. Snorkeling was great...they were very friendly and helpful from the arrival at Chankanaab (sp) through the explanations, guidance and ...

Cousins reunion was the theme and we had a very rewarding experience. We exchanged stories from years ago, showed photos of our children and grandchildren and observed the resemblances of the children and grandchildren . The meals were all shared together and a meeting place before dinner for cocktails . The group went to the ports in several groups and compared their purchases when they were back ...
