Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

My husband selected this cruise as a gift for me. It was the best!!! I ate too much, drank too much and met some great people. The Ship, Allure of the Seas, met all of my expectations and in some cases exceeded them. My cabin was clean. I did not like the twin beds - I would suggest a mattress topper over both beds in order to remove the uncomfortable center line. Dining was always a ...

We chose this ship again after having traveled via this way in 2017. The ship is large but seems intimate. Never seems crowded despite the number of guests onboard. Great dining room food and service. An abundance of things to do. If u book a balcony that faces Central Park u receive a free lunch at Giovanni's table and a bottle of wine! The balcony rooms on this show are large and lofty ...

RCI has lowered its standards

Hate to say it, but the crew members agree, RCI has cut back on things so it can keep building new ships. This was our #1 cruise line, but after this last cruise, NCL has topped their service standards now. Pros: Large ship with lots to do. Cons: Beds hard as the floor and they no longer provide mattress pads upon request. No more stocked mini fridges in room No ...

I chose this cruise due to the reviews I've read about the Allure and they didn't disappoint. Embarkation was smooth although I had pre filled everything out which i would really recommend. One recommendation is to have the kids wristbands available at the check in kiosk, as we were ready to board and had to check in at one more station, which slowed us down a little. The ship is huge words ...

Let me just start by saying the the cruise ship was simply amazing! The crew members were always friendly & upbeat even after 6 long days of dealing with everyone's special request. The port of calls were beautiful and we had a hard time choosing from the variety of great excursions offered. The food was so delicious that my husband & I had to start a diet (we ate so well) The 'drink ...

Chose this cruise 1st of all because it RCL. The port stops Haiti, Jamaica, helped make my decision. On RCL you can always expect good food, entertainment and professionalism of the staff. The shows choices were fantastic. Lots of clubs/bars if you are a drinker and even if you're not. You could sit and chat with the crew. The play (Mama Mia) has been a play I have been wanting to experience ...

From the moment we stepped onto the ship to time we got off the ship everything was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The ship has something for everyone, great restaurants, and bars, amazing shows, and entertainment. There were three of us traveling, all adults so didn't use any of the kid's amenities. We didn't use the paid restaurants either as didn't see the need ...

Where do I start? It was our honeymoon. From the minute we go on board until the minute we left we had the time of our lives. The entertainment was out of this world!!! Too many choices each evening in terms of theatre, music and comedy. You can eat at any minute of any day and the food was scrumptious. Staff were so amazing. The stop offs were mostly brilliant. In Jamaica the people followed and ...

We are from British Columbia, Canada and flew to Miami Airport first to have a day touring Miami City and beach area. We arrived back the next day at Miami to take the Royal Caribbean shuttle to Fort Lauderdale and Allures docking place. I must say we found the Royal Caribbean desk all right and a young nicely dressed man took our names and luggage and was very accommodation and answered all our ...

I’m going back to Carnival

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

All of my other cruises, 5+, have been on Carnival. I wanted to try RCI because the ships seemed bigger and better. I was wrong. Yes, the ship was big and pretty but not better. I felt nickeled and dimed and was bored. The rooms are smaller, parties were hard to come by. Shows were okay. While the comedians were funny, they should have new materiel by the end of the cruise. The Quest was ...
