Allure of seas embarkation was fast and organized with pleasant people directing you. Get a diagram of ship at check in as it is helpful to get your bearings. The front of the ship is the entertainment venues and the back of the ship is food venues. The boardwalk and aqua theatre are in the back with the sports deck ( flow rider, rock climbing wall. Putt putt golf,,ping pong). The boardwalk is ...
My wife and I cruised with my daughter her boyfriend and our son and his family. We have curised multiple times with Royal Caribbean and each time the included services go down. They seem to get their hand deeper into my pocket each subsequent cruise. I mean really, do you need to charge for bottled water?
The quality of the food was not great. The buffet was similar to going to the Old Country ...
My husband and I cruised with RC for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time (2008). We cruised again with RC in 2011 with my in-laws, parents and young child and we couldn't wait to do it again with our family. We were excited that we would be able to take part in the children's program and have some down time. The kids program was good, and my children usually looked forward to doing it. I could ...
Cruise was chosen as it is an Oasis class for its size.
Reasons were for Solarium, Spa and 150 Central Park.
On a birthday event at the Spa I was not allowed in at my booked time.
One of the staff were not only not understanding but lied and said the room wasn't ready and was being sanitized.
After 45 minutes they admitted another couple was using it.
There was a refund and ...
My husband and I have been on a cruise the last 4 years we have been together. We've been on Norwegian and Holland America. We have always had a great time but we both have been on a Royal Caribbean years prior and agreed RC was better. So we decided for the first time together we would splurge for the more expensive RC cruise for my birthday. The ship itself is incredible so if thats all you care ...
The Allure is a gorgeous ship and I believe everyone should try to see an Oasis class vessel. If you're one that likes exciting activities, excellent shows, and a variety of options for food, beverages, and things to do, you should love it. However, I value service and take cruises to unwind. The level of service received on the Allure was below my expectations in many areas and, in some places, ...
This was our fifth (and probably last) time on Allure of the Seas. After booking the cruise, Royal Caribbean started advertising "Kids Sail Free" for this cruise. We asked a few crew members how many kids were on board and always got the same answer: over 1,000. We were told that the ship had over 6,300 passengers on board. WAY too many people. Every elevator was full. Every time. Double ...
Chose this cruise for the family and were really disappointed by the big ship! Activities and entertainment was so much better on smaller ships! Quality of food and service was sub par! Have really enjoyed the smaller ships but with young adults we thought the bigger ship would provide more things to do. Really for littler kids and entertainers was so much better on the Serenade of the Sea!!! ...
Crusing with friends.
This cruise SUCKED big time. Food was awful and cold at both the buffet (Windjammer) and the dining hall. Service at the dining hall was just about as poor as you could get, otherwise just awful. I never had a hot meal from either place and that was disappointing. I like Royal Caribbean line, but will never do this ship again. There was 13 couples and we should all be ...
A great experience inside the ship, with excellent service on board, was completely ruined by the Shore Excursions that we took with Royal Caribbean. It is important to mention that this was our honeymoon trip. They tell you to take the excursions with Royal because they are the most professional, the most safe, basically the best, but that is far from the truth. In Labadee, during our snorkeling ...
