Our first sailing on Royal Caribbean and on a cruise ship of this class

We were first time cruisers on Royal Caribbean, previously sailing pre-COVID on Carnival and Norwegian. We were on the Feb 5th sailing from Galveston. We live in the Houston area and sailing out of Galveston is very convenient. We both have birthdays this week and wanted to book a cruise. The Allure was just coming to Galveston and when we compared it to the other ships that sailed from ...

This was our 21st and 22nd cruise, all but three being on RCCL. I am shocked at the bad reviews this ship is getting. The ship is fantastic with a lot of things the other ships don't have like the Central Park, boardwalk, and diving show. It is BIG! It is being well maintained and is very clean. When we first walked in, it was like walking into a glitzy shopping mall and I just stood there a ...

I am shocked to see anything other than 5 STAR reviews. This ship is astounding! I was amazed from the first moment I saw it on the horizon from my hotel room at dawn the morning we were leaving Galveston. Truly an amazing ship! EVERY SINGLE STAFF member from the time we arrived at the terminal was so nice friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding. We ate in the Windjammer almost every meal, ...

We chose this to celebrate New Years with friends.Loved the shows even though we were on Allure in 2019;they changed the shows just enough that they seemed a little different and were just as great! We had great service!Had some fun in port. The Roatan excursion with Jolly Rogers for snorkeling could have been a little better. The only downsize of this cruise is that there were 6 of us and we all ...

A wonderful return to cruising with a large group

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We were a group of 9 (two families + two singles) who chose this cruise as a "splurge" for a group vacation this year. I’ll preface by saying this was our first trip on an Oasis class ship, so we did have that “WOW” factor added to our experience. EMBARKATION: An absolute breeze. We arrived about 45 minutes early but they still allowed us right on. We had an 8 year old (vaxxed) so we went ...

Great First Post-Covid Cruise Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We booked a Western Caribbean Cruise on Allure of the Seas in March 2022 primarily because of the Cruise with Confidence Guarantee, plus the fact that the ship was at reduced capacity. I had looked into other cruise lines that offer free WiFi and alcoholic beverages, but we've sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past and have always had a great experience. This cruise was no exception. ...

B2B on one of our favorite ships

We just returned from B2B 8-day cruises on the Allure. We have cruised on the Allure in the past. Embarkation went very smoothly. Once on board we headed to Deck 15 to enjoy the Solarium area until our cabin was ready. This is how we start every cruise on an Oasis Class ship. Our cabin, a Balcony on Deck 8 was good, not great, I'll talk more about that below. Entertainment was good - ...

Really fun time on a great ship!

I'll try to go in order: *Embarkation was chaotic and confusing. We got put in the wrong line and had to switch after waiting through it. Had to show different papers to different people at different "checkpoints" and it wasn't clear what the logic was behind each of the requirements at each place. There wasn't much information about what to do when you first got on board (for example, I didn't ...

Group of 6 adults and 2 teens: 6 of us had never cruised before. Happy to report we had an amazing experience and were very impressed with pretty much everything! The ship was gorgeous-sparkling clean, beautifully designed-it's huge. We never felt crowded or cramped. The boarding process was well organized and efficient, as was disembarking. We had an ocean balcony room with an adjoining room for ...

Friends and Family Group Cruise

I usually cruise by myself or with one of my best friends. For this cruise we had a group of six. Boarding was easy and quick. We had a blast on Allure, we had new cruisers and experienced cruisers in our group. We found all that we wanted to do on the cruise. So many activities (and beverages) to keep us entertained. I was in an ocean balcony, the room was the high level of clean that ...
