The cruise was booked one year in advance. We had a group of approximately 25 people. Thus far it was the best cruise my friends and family had experienced. We were on the 8th floor, very convenient to the Windjammer, to the Boardwalk just cross the Central Park and you have access to both side of the ship. There is food everywhere, we spent alot of time at the pizza (Sorrento) almost every ...
Not sure the reason why we chose such a large ship. Maybe because last year we took the Anthem of the Seas from Bayonne New Jersey and my family still can not stop raving about it! The Allure of the Seas, larger than the Anthem, was indeed a beautiful ship, though some public areas, like the Amber theatre and our cabins are in need of some refurbishments. Amazing what kind of floating hotels they ...
The boat is great, all the systems and processes are a hot mess. They give limited instruction to first time cruisers with them, and the staff on board have very limited ability to resolve issues. We wasted so much time dealing with issues and being frustrated. Their mobile app SUCKS and the website is really bad too for managing reservations. The shore excursions were excellent, which made the ...
There is a new way of cruising called suite class, which we gave a second try aboard RCL Allure of the Seas. Cabin 14644 with 556/243 sq ft cabin/balcony. We find that 300 sq ft is ample, but could not pass up the deal we got on this OS cabin. We only got around to using 2/3 of the balcony, a table and 2 lounge chairs was great. We arrive at the port early at 9:30 am and were led to the 2nd floor ...
I've been told for years that I need to try a cruise. Everything is included, you visit multiple exotic locations, the people are so nice...Ok, well, not everything is included and when you're a 1st timer (they have ways of determining this when you're booking), they do the best they can to nickel and dime you. The included restaurant fare is typical of a standard all-you-can-eat buffet in the US, ...
Great food!
Loved the servers in all areas!
So hospitable!
Tony, Dennis and Arifin were out table waiters and servers! They rocked the experience! So sweet to our children! Magic tricks by Dennis each dinner. Hospitable and took time for us each meal. They made it special!
We loved Washie Washie! She made it fun and we won’t forget her!
Entertainment could have been more ...
Fantastic cabin, food, activities, and shore excursions. This was my first cruise ever, and I was not disappointed.
We took shore excursions to Atlantis in the Bahamas, Stingray City in Cozumel, swimming with dolphins in Roatan, and exploring the Mayan ruins in Costa Maya. Every shore excursion was well planned, and staffed by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The cabin was serviced twice ...
I really would have liked to see more variety on the boat, lots of luxury, lots of people, few pools and slow service in the restaurants. The shows more of the same. It's not a "fun ship". The service charges you consume that are not included are very high. There is no variety of activities in the pool or when the boat is on the sea. Only the 70 's party was super fun for everyone. Captain's ...
Allure of the Seas is incredible. So many options for dining and entertainment. The crew is very attentive. Entertainment is superb. From poolside music, to evening shows to parades and ice shows everything is so professional and top tier.
Disappointed with Cozumel due to very heavy seaweed on beaches creating a disgusting mess and foul smell. Tour to Tulum was OK but far too little time ...
We went on this cruise with family and friends. The staff and greeters were all fantastic. Cabin was small and the couch could’ve been newer or cleaner. Overall, the food was a 4 out of 5. We had a lot of good and great meals. We also had a few below average meals. Bar drinks also get 4 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, we had quite of few weak and unsatisfactory drinks. Fantastic shows and ...
