Really fun time on a great ship!
"We had to wait for a bit for the room steward to get approval to unlock the connecting door and we were trying to unpack our shared suitcases by going back and forth through the main cabin door so the kids got locked out at one point and we had to wait for them to be let back in.My 12 year old was a bit intimidated by the whole thing and probably would have done better in a more structured program, although he loved the freedom of going places by himself to get food whenever he wanted...."Read More

Very disappointed

We went on a family cruise and this ship was extremely overcrowded and you never could get a table for breakfast! It's literally elbow to elbow! Very overwhelming! Also the fine dining food was very disappointing and nothing special. There wasn't anything for kids to do and all the shows were packed and boring! This cruise is not kid friendly nor fun for anyone. We were very disappointed and will ...

The cruise ship itself was large and clean. The staff though was not trained very well and confusing to talk with. I had purchased the soft drink package which comes with a cup to use at the drink stations. I thought this might be addressed at the check in but that was basically a glance at your passport and sent aboard. I could not find any information other than to see guest services so I did ...

Awful

This was an all around bad experience. Maybe the worst vacation I've ever been on actually. We are new to cruising, and had very high hopes. Choose not to disembark at a stop and nothing is open during the day- even though the weather was awful and most people didn't leave the boat. All the restaurants shut down mid day, the Flow rider is closed, the basketball court is constantly closed or ...

Great ship and really enjoyable cruise

Why this cruise? Took place over mid-winter break for the kids from school, and we were able to take advantage of the Kids Sail Free promotion, making the cost of the cruise, and the 2 Bedroom Aqua Theater suite (Star class!), very doable. Check-in and boarding was insanely easy and quick. Arrived at the port about 10:30 and boarding had already begin. Looking around the terminal, there were ...

This was my first cruise. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go again. The amenities were amazing. And the service was unmatched. Every area of the ship was spotless. And everyone was helpful and friendly. The lovely woman who kept our room spotless and made a new animal shape out of towels each day was fabulous! Her name was Sue and I cannot say enough about her service! The shows on ...

Was disappointed with this ship

Last year we went on Royal Independence of the Seas and we had a great time. This time we decided to go on one of their bigger ships Allure of the Seas. First we didn’t realize they did NOT have any water slides for the kids. They had a small splash pad area that squirted water but it was very lame. We were able to make it to the Aqua Show on the back of the boat on the standby line and that thing ...

Allure - 1 Bedroom Aqua Suite - Quick weekend getaway

Casino Comp - Quick getaway This was our second cruise on Allure and I was initially excited to have an Oasis Class ship with the quick weekend getaways close to home. That being said - We both liked it, but can't say that we loved it. Would I go on her again? Absolutely, but wouldn't be my first choice. The Good and the "Meh" Cabins: (this time a 1 BR Aqua, last time Jr. Suite) ...

What Happened???

We were strictly Royal Caribbean travelers until this cruise. When we got on the boat, we were not even acknowledged, even though 2 boat employees were standing on either side of the door. No smile, no welcome. Just look at us. When we got on the elevator, as soon as I looked at the floors, it looked old and dirty. A far cry from the protocols they were taking during COVID. It's like they ...

A new unique experience

This was our first time with RCL. We've cruised on Princess and Celebrity. Our first impression is that this is a BIG ship!!! So we went into it knowing navigating around would require time. Our cabin was about in the middle and around the corner of the elevators. I was concerned about noise but none was noticed. A few random thoughts/points/observations: - The solarium which is suppose to ...
