This was a Valentine Cruise featuring the Texas Tenors. However, unless you purchased VIP package, you were unable to hear them perform. Embarkation was a complete zoo standing in line with hundreds of other guests for thirty minutes before being able to board. Very crowded with lots of children. Entertainment venues always booked up with long waiting lines. Cabin bed was very uncomfortable. ...

Great ship but dated with subpar food

Super shocked to have to write a review for an Oasis class ship that had bad food but this one was a shocker. Albeit this is our first cruise post Covid I think that its just how things might be for a bit. The main dining room was a huge let down. We tend to avoid buffets on ships but on this one we had to go a couple times because the MDR was just disappointing and often cold. MDR food: ...

Felt crowded at 50% capacity

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Used up a cruise credit from 2019 that RCCL would not extend, even though they canceled 2 I had booked. Even though I had a frustrating experience with them pre cruise. I was looking forward to this cruise. The crowding and waiting started at the airport as I had to wait 45 minutes for their shuttle, causing me to arrive at the port at 2 pm to absolute chaos. Luggage everywhere and a lineup that ...

My husband, 21 year old daughter and 18 year old daughter and I went on the Allure to celebrate Christmas together and once again, Royal Caribbean did not disappoint. This was our 20th cruise, 13th on Royal Caribbean. We arrived at the port at around 11:15 a.m. and we sat down for about 3 minutes then we boarded the ship. Embarkation was easy and quick. We have been on the Allure before and ...

Royal Caribbean Ruined my Honeymoon

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

My fiancé (at the time) and I chose this cruise because Royal Caribbean’s travel planner was so friendly, informative and said they would have something special planned for us if we sailed with them because it was our honeymoon. Because of this, we sailed with them. Later, we received an email saying something was broken with the boat and they needed to change our destination. We still ...

We booked this cruise to experience an Oasis class ship that included a stop at Coco Cay. Our time window was very tight and this Allure of the Seas cruise out of Fort Lauderdale fit the bill. It was a different in having to preplan every event but three months was adequate time to do that. But it was impossible without knowing which events on the ship we were missing. More on that later in ...

I selected this cruise as the Casino Royale's Club Royal players programs gave an offer, I could not refuse. This review will focus mainly on the the casino activity and atmosphere. The Allure of the Seas is a large ship and as such, they have a rather substantial casino in size and variety of slots and table games. On sea days, and when docked at Labadee, Haiti the slots are open 24 hours. ...

The biggest ship I've been on with he smallest smoking areas. Many folks had to stand. Every thing else was great. Seems as if the friendliest folk hang in the smoking areas. I really missed siting on the outside promenade, quieter and relaxing. Didn't use the MDR but once. The Windjammer had good food, not enough desserts, Didn't try all the free dining area except Sorentos ( pizza not ...

25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We booked this cruise last year whilst on Voyager of the Seas in Asia. At that time we were asked if we were celebrating anything special and advised that it would be our 25th wedding anniversary during the cruise. It was our intention to renew our wedding vows onboard and we mentioned this when booking our flights with our Travel Agent. RCI acknowledged this during this second booking contact. ...
