This was our 4th cruise and third since covid. Alaska does not disappoint and we will be going back. As far as Norwegian is concerned I will need a lot of convincing to try them again. Our room was dirty when we arrived Drawers covered in dust bunnies and they were still there when we left. There were items from the previous cruisers still in the room when we got there. We didn't meet the room ...
After booking and paying for this cruise, we got an update stating that our first port of call had been cancelled then a second port of call had also been cancelled, the replacement on the first port had been changed to Seattle, we live in Vancouver BC, the second cancellation no substitute provided. While on the ship other ports had also been cancelled one due to weather one because of civil ...
Ship was extremely crowded. Embarkation took hours. Layout of the ship is confusing. A lot of people mentioned their difficulties with the ship layout. Ship is old and needs a lot of repairs. Wires hanging. Elevators required long wait times. Ship specialty restaurants were all booked as well as afternoon tea. So disappointing to not be able to eat in one at least once. Food in dining room also ...
My wife and I are experienced cruisers. First cruise with NCL on a 14 day Cruise from Vancouver to Alaska return. The entertainment was excellent. The food quality in the Garden Buffet was very good. We went to the dining room on three occasions and found the food was below standard from what other cruise lines offer. The onion soup being served was poor. The salad was over dressed with salad ...
We choose this line because it goes through the Tracy Arm Fjords. I have to say after 36 cruises this is the most disappointing - the boat was dated and our room was not clean. We had to complain to the front desk and get them to clean again and still they missed cleaning the drawers and mirrors. The food was horrible in the dining room and buffet and only one of the specialty restaurants was ...
We sailed to Alaska on the Ruby Princess and it was one of the worst trips of our lives. Our stateroom was directly across from a crew service area, and four days into our trip, a pipe in that service area began leaking water into our room. We noticed the wet carpet before leaving on an excursion and notified guest services. When we opened the door to our stateroom in the evening, we were met with ...
The itinerary was shortened at two ports: Ketchikan and Victoria. Apparently to accommodate other ships. Victoria excursion came so late on the last day that it was virtually useless. Entertainment was below average overall. Music was often too loud in the midship plaza area which made conversation impossible. Food was OK but not as good as Celebrity or Royal Caribbean. Seating in the buffet ...
The first 4 cruises with Princess were great. Then we did a Norwegian cruise in the Mediterranean and came back to Princess on an Alaskan cruise. If something could go wrong, it did. To start, there were no warnings that covid was present on board, so we did not take the proper precautions and we both caught covid halfway thru the 11 day cruise. We brought two covid tests with us...just in ...
This cruise ship was not worth the money. They also could care less about cancelled flights and transportation which is included in your package. Horrible customer service. Food was average. Boat was small. Butler tired. Excursions ok at best. Only excursion I enjoyed was the one i booked myself. They sale you with all these add one but don’t deliver. Cruise was actually boring. Minimal activity. ...
This is a run down ship with tired and overworked employees. There’s no variety and limited spa and excursions. There’s little activity and the same experience everyday. We are a group of 5 and cannot wait to get off. Many others on the cruise feel the exact same way. We missed Icy Bay point/ Strait because we had a medical evacuation. We waited for over 2 hours for a boat and then another hour ...
