Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Sun

Just completed 20 days on the sun from Seattle to Fl. First off we had a penthouse i bedroom rear facing suite on the 10th floor that had a very large deck with two chairs and two loungers with thick and comfortable pads. The room was ok - the shower wad small to fit the 6 foot tub. The living room needed an extra chair and bigger table for eating on but we just bough in a deck chair. The bed was ...

A Cheapskate Tries a Repositioning Cruise

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Crown Princess

What year is this cruise? People are eating rice pilaf and drinking Blue Hawaiians, the comedian’s routine is shockingly racist, and the big musical revue is a nearly all-white salute to Motown. I halfway expected to run into cigarette machine. I am old, but Gen Z: I was appalled on your behalf. The fact that the buffet has a vegan section and there’s a nightly LGBTQ meet-up reminded me it was ...

5 Star Service - 4 Star Maintenance & Packages Presence

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Sapphire Princess

Sapphire was built in 2004 and refurbished in 2018. It hold ups to 2670 passengers and up to 1100 crew. That's a nice crew to passenger ratio. This smaller ship really provides wonderful service. We took a repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles from October 8th-15th, 2023. I would have given them a 4 1/2 stars, but that wasn't a choice. The reality is even though, they ...

Trans-Pacific and Best of Japan B2B - Part One

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

This was our third attempt to do this with Celebrity...COVIDS caused the cruise to be canceled year after year. We lifted and shifted our reservations, with Celebrity being quite amenable after a bit of balking. Japan is one of the places DW and I had never visited before, and the idea of sailing across the North Pacific was intriguing. The ship gets *****. Our first trip on Millie, ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Grand Princess

Picked this cruise as a B2B to the Vancouver-Sydney relocation cruise. The weather for 14 days was bleak, but doing a return trip we managed to see everything we wanted, though we missed Hubbard Glacier and the first Ketchikan stop. The internet worked well and we had no problems with the Medallion app. Would have spent more time in the casino except the smoke smell was terrible, seeping out ...

Perfect sized ship for Alaskan cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Regatta

Food was excellent (nice choice and variety). Service has excellent (stateroom stewards were amazing!). Thoroughly enjoyed how close the ship got to Hubbard Glacier. Also enjoyed the other ports of call. The Naturalist on the cruise was also amazing. Saw dolphins, whales, and sea lions from the ship - cool! DID NOT LIKE WARD’S COVE. Oceania’s parent company, NCL, has their own dock, outside ...

Great itinerary and food in dining room

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Sapphire Princess

Price for a turnaround Alaskan cruise was really inexpensive. You see same ports but different glaciers. Obstructed ocean view cabin is clean and comfortable. I just wish Princess would clean the outside windows. The new Alaskan menu in the dining room is excellent if you like fish/ seafood. 3 production shows good, comedians horrible. The naturalist onboard gave informative lectures but the ...

Accessibility and Excursions

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Sun

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

This was our first cruise and we had a fantastic time on this smaller ship. The ship was easy to navigate in my husbands manual wheelchair, with issues only happening a handful of times. I would suggest reservations for non-buffet restaurants for wheelchair users due to the limited space between the tables and chairs in most dining rooms. The downside to the dining rooms will be that you will ...
