Sapphire was built in 2004 and refurbished in 2018. It hold ups to 2670 passengers and up to 1100 crew. That's a nice crew to passenger ratio. This smaller ship really provides wonderful service. This was our first cruise and we had a fantastic time on this smaller ship. The ship was easy to navigate in my husbands manual wheelchair, with issues only happening a handful of times. I would suggest reservations for non-buffet restaurants for wheelchair users due to the limited space between the tables and chairs in most dining rooms.
