Stay away from balcony room The bathroom stinks of mold and mildew. They have tried deep cleaning but I fear it’s under the bathtub and walls. Other cruisers say their room is fine so I guess I got stuck they need to take out tub and replace with shower. The mold caused allergies that made my entire 26 day cruise less pleasant. Ship was extremely crowded. Embarkation took hours. Layout of the ship is confusing. A lot of people mentioned their difficulties with the ship layout. Ship is old and needs a lot of repairs. We sailed to Alaska on the Ruby Princess and it was one of the worst trips of our lives. The first 4 cruises with Princess were great. Then we did a Norwegian cruise in the Mediterranean and came back to Princess on an Alaskan cruise. If something could go wrong, it did.
