We are a family with 3 young kids and wanted to cruise over Dec break. This ship had all the amenities we were looking for in an ice rink, rock wall, water slides, and flow rider. We were able to book a junior suite that fit a family of 5.
Pros:
Great kids activities as stated above. The flow rider was awesome, so was the rock wall and water slides. There were several hot tubs, but the ...
Family member chose this cruise. My first cruise but after day 1 I knew she should have chosen another Cruse line. Two family members have been on 30 cruises and they said this is the worst ship by far.
In my opinion the stateroom was roomy although outdated…think the 70’s. Some of the faucets were eroding, the food at the buffet not what I expected, some of it was cold, I expected food ...
We chose this cruise mostly based on itinerary as we have sailed the Caribbean many times but have never been to St Croix or Tortola. Despite the heading saying this was a 5 day it was a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. This was our second cruise on the Adventure, the last one being about 6 1/2 years ago. The cruise itself we found to be quite boring. Most things are surrounded around childen and ...
We did a 7 night cruise to the USVI, BVI, and Bahamas. The ship overall does need to be updated but does have a lot of amenities. The staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. The buffet food was just ok but Chops and Giovanni’s restaurant were good! On our floor deck 8.. there were a lot of kids running through the halls and slamming doors constantly. I did notify our state room attendant and ...
First cruise post covid19 and great group of fellow passengers! Many different ages. We’re age 65 plus and love to dance and enjoy Zumba line dancing theme parties etc. Enjoyed the chances we had but RCL seems to be cutting back on that stuff. RCL had so much karaoke. Great for whoever enjoyed it. B
Bermuda forms were a mess. Had to get to airport for testing as testing results didn’t come in ...
We’re supposed to go on anthem in January but canceled because of Covid-19. Fully vaccinated and boosted but concerned about cases onboard and supposed to be 150 quarantine cases onboard many masks by cruise end. Ship was 2,400 onboard many fun active passengers dancing opportunities were well attended. Too little day opportunities though. Too much karaoke, boring unless you drink too much and ...
We took this cruise as part of a specific group, so neither the ship nor the itinerary was our choice. That said, we had a good time overall and give Royal Caribbean an A- for the experience.
The Ship: The ship is older than most we sail, and it’s age shows. Colors/decoration are dated. The ship has been updated, but with heavy use it is in need of some tweaks. Carpets are worn, furniture ...
We booked this cruise as a 'last minute' decision because 1) we needed a getaway and 2) price (we must have hit upon it on one of their price drop days). We have only sailed one other cruise, on Princess, so I am trying to give this an honest stand-alone review without totally comparing the two.
Check in was flawless. Being able to pre-check in was one of the easiest and having it 'done' ...
I'm a loyal RCCL cruiser (Diamond member) and frankly, I much prefer the Voyager class ships versus the huge Oasis class ships, primarily because I love the ability to walk outside and listen to the waves from Deck 4. However, this cruise was just barely average. Entertanment was virtually non-existent (for an 8 day cruise) and what they did have wasn't really worth watching. Food was okay ...
