This eight night Southern Caribbean route left from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - one of the best US ports in my experience - so I already had particularly high expectations. This itinerary had a slightly more uncommon itinerary as it had Bonaire in the lineup alongside Aruba and Curacao, rather than Aruba, Curacao, and some other port of call.
Embarkation went exceptionally ...
This was a family cruise set in motion by my 86 year old dad, who wanted to cross visiting Aruba off of his bucket list. There were 8 of us altogether; my wife and I, my dad, my brother, my cousin and his wife and a second cousin and his girlfriend.
We boarded the Adventure of the Seas at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. Embarkation was smooth, and we were on board the ship in less than an ...
I just got off the adventures of the seas and it was one of the most wonderful trips I’ve had. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Some people are just negative Nancy’s. I was in a spacious balcony cabin on deck eight and there was so much space for storage my niece and I actually had an empty cabinet and barely I have a side of the closet full. The bathroom was a typical cruise bathroom but it ...
We were a group of 7. Myself (53), wife (59), our married daughter and son in-law (both 36) and their 3 children aged 16, 14, 10. My wife and I are experienced cruisers however the kids are not. We chose this cruise because we were paying for everyone and it was affordably priced compared to other ships and itineraries during this period. We had three cabins. Two balconies (one corner aft) and ...
This was our fourth cruise on Adventure and 46th with Royal Caribbean.
We had a Junior Suite, 1646, port side, deck 10.
Room was splendid with ample storage and closet space, a welcome change from the tight surroundings on Empress the week before.
Dining was Deck 3, my time dining. Food was good not great. The soups were generally outstanding. The second formal night had small lobster ...
Overall, great experience! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant staff in Main Dining (waiters Raj & Richard) were the most accommodating, friendliest and welcoming guys ever! There were some aspects of the ship which are due for renovations (coming Spring ‘21): spots in carpet, stains in some booth seat backs, and some wear marks on chairs in main dining room. Otherwise, the ship ...
we got a good last minute deal so we took it.Had an excellent time. The food was very good in the main dining room. The service was excellent (EKO)as our waiter and (OSCAR)as our room stewart.I also thought the entertainment was very good.Getting on and off the ship was a breeze. The only negative was that the casino was way too smokey and the elevators were too slow.We did have my time dining but we ...
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer early Spring 2019. She went through surgery and radiation and throughout this process my mom and I decided that we love Royal Caribbean cruises so much that we wanted to go on a cruise to celebrate her being cancer free once she was done with treatment. It so happened that the date we chose was in October which is breast cancer awareness month!
She flew ...
Where do I begin? My wife and I just returned from a six night sailing on Adventure of the Seas. This was her 12th cruise and my 10th. We've sailed NCL, RCI, Carnival and Celebrity. Of all the ships we've been on, Adventure is my favorite without a doubt. We booked this trip when we were on Enchantment last September. I was excited about trying a Vision class ship because it has all the ...
Just went on Adventure of the Seas to Maine and Canada. Just loved this cruise! Aside from the excellent ports-of-call, the ship was also great.
Though not a new ship, it was very well maintained. Our accessible room was very spacious, and our stateroom attendant kept it very clean and accommodated all of our requests.
We enjoyed the shows, and especially the ice show.
We thought that ...
