After working hard, and waiting for long months, to be able to celebrate my mother's 84th birthday, here I leave you a record of the terrible nightmare experienced during our journey.
Let's start with the unkindness of some people who work in the aging port of Everglades in Fort Laudardale.
Starting with the people who receive the suitcases. The first thing they do, and they tell you it to ...
Royal Caribbean stateroom and dining options were a disappointment. We had a balcony room, the balcony was full of sandblasting dust on the chairs and table. The interior sofa was heavily soiled with stains and the carpet was dirty with red juice or wine stains. The wood cabinetry was grimy and sticky. RC should spend more time updating the interior of staterooms instead of building bigger boats. ...
As a long time RCCL cruiser this is our third time on this ship. We figured we couldn’t go wrong since the other times were great. It all started with our Anniversary package not being in our room. The very cheapest of decorations were up, but no champagne or strawberries. We were told it to wait until the end of the night and it “should” show up. By the next morning we made our first trip to the ...
After cruising on Grande of the seas we eagerly booked another Royal Carribbean Cruise. A short break to Cozumel sounded great. We booked a Grand Suit costing just under 3k. At the time of booking we included our drink packages.
Where to start? On boarding the ship we find out our beverage packages were not added as asked on booking. We consequently had to forfeit the 30% pre sailing booking ...
This was a family trip and we had multiple rooms. Our bathroom smelled like sewage the entire trip! Our sons toilet wouldn’t even flush for an entire day. The food was incredibly bad, both in the dining room and the buffet. We ended up paying extra for dinner because the food was so bad. No flavor, served luke warm and no one seemed to care. The wait staff just wanted to push you to purchase more ...
I am a Carnival Gold member who loves to cruise. Had it not been for COVID, we would platinum. A number of friends told us that we had to try Royal Caribbean (RC). They promised we would never go back to Carnival. Well, they were wrong.
The first issue we had was having our first port canceled. We were supposed to go to Progresso on our first stop. Royal Caribbean canceled the stop claiming the ...
As a Gold Crown & Anchor member, this was our 3rd cruise on Royal Caribbean. It is a shame RC has lost their way and hopefully the CEO, Jason Liberty is paying attention…. More importantly I hope he is making changes. Either he will or his successor will be forced to.
Adventure of the Seas is not a bad ship. It is fairly nice. Check in was fine, safety briefing was good, clean stateroom, ...
This was our first cruise. Very disappointing. The ship either needs to be refurbished or cut up for scrap! Very poor maintenance. Rust everywhere. Windows dirty. Railing dried out, splintered. Window trim rotted. They were always working on one elevator. Windjammer restaurant a zoo! Limited seating. Went to the dining room. It had better food and great service. Ship store limited ...
We chose this cruise for the destinations and the time of year we had to skip the Panama stop because the canal was not dredged on time and that was one of the main reasons I wanted to go on this trip because I did missionary work on the kuna Indians for 30 years and about halfway into the cruise I started feeling very sick and had severe diarrhea and cramping and nausea and headache and and the ...
I want to start this with, the staff in the MDR. They were great. Very attentive, really fun and super nice.
We had a few issues with our cabin. I loved the placement and size of the cabin. I loved the window. We have never stayed that low. Our issue’s were the hard mattress, the sink drained very slow, and it was a hit or miss with the toilet flushing. Yes I went to guest services. ...
