Great cruise on the Adventure of the Seas

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Just returned from a 7 night cruise on the AOS to Barbados, St Lucia, St Maarten, Antigua, St. Croix. This is our second time on the AOS, the first in 2006. The ship was in excellent shape and was very very clean. After reading the negative comments I wondered what we would find when we arrived. Embarkation was easy. Went to the port at 11:30 and got on the ship at Noon. Went to the Windjammer to ...

We recently got back from our 7 night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Adventure and had a great time! We were shocked at how quickly we got onto the ship. We didnt have to wait in any lines at the pier to get on the ship! This went WAY smoother than we had remembered in the past! The ports of call were really amazing and we did things that we hadnt done in the past. We zip-lined in St. Lucia ...

Great Last Minute Cruise Deal

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

OVERVIEW: This cruise was booked as a last minute deal for us (as we typically like to seek out). Originally, we were hoping to sail with Celebrity based on great experiences in the past, but this ship offered both the price and itinerary we were seeking. However, for an “older” ship (2001), it did not disappoint at all and I would say we were generally pleasantly surprised all along the way ...

Wonderful Ship and Great Island Stops

This is my 4th cruise and I learned to pick cruises based on stops and ship entertainment. This cruise left from San Juan (Pan American Port) and visited 5 different islands. I have been on Carnival, Princess and Royal Caribbean and I love Royal Caribbean the most. The ships are elegant and well maintained. There is so much fun entertainment that you cannot possibly do it all in one week. In my ...

My wife and I took a vacation with RCI to the southern caribbean. Our idea of a vacation is to do something different and try new things than what we do at home. I'm confused by some of the previous reviews that 'staff was uninterested' or the ship was 'dirty.' This is certainly not the case and I would recommend that you look for specific examples or evidence from the 'critics' that support the ...

Loved the cruise. Adventure of the seas is very clean. We had. Js at the rear and felt no motion at all. Junior suite is very spacious!!! We ate in the Windjammer , main dining room. The service in the Main dining room was the best The Windjammer was busy as expected and there was always plenty of food to chose from. Johnny Rockets has the best milkshakes. Midnight buffet was just ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Our 2nd cruise, 2nd time on the Adventure of the Seas, 1st time doing the transatlantic. We loved it! The embarkation process, predictably and understandably, was somewhat chaotic and involved lots of line-standing. It all worked out, almost everyone made it on board before the ship left. A couple of days at sea (with a bit of mild choppy weather, enough to let you know that you were on a ship on ...

A relaxing Transatlantic cruise, on a very friendly ship

We are a married couple from Scandinavia who previous have been on 35 cruises. This was our 9 Transatlantic cruise, and our 18 cruise with RCI. Pre-cruise: For the second year in a row, we had pre-booked a car with chauffeur from Online Airport Cars in London, to our hotel in Southampton. It worked again very well for us, and we thought the price was fair. We stayed at the Hotel Novotel ...

Fantastic Cruise; Be Cautious About the Negative Reviews

We were on the transatlantic cruise from Southampton. This was our first time cruising with RCI, the first time on a ship with over 3000 passengers and our first transatlantic crossing. We had a great time and enjoyed everything about the cruise. Before we left home I stopped reading other peoples’ reviews; they were so negative and disappointing I did not want my holiday ruined before we’d even ...

This was my First cruise with RCI, my FIRST Transatlantic and my First solo cruise. I joined the cruise critic roll call for the ship, getting a lot of information about the cruise, including some trips to the various islands we were visiting. We also agreed to meet at the sky bar for sail away, where I met other solo cruisers who were to remain friends throughout the cruise (RCI also organised ...
