Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

The Adventure of the Seas is a good choice for destinations, but limited sea days. Affordable for couples trip. We booked a Junior suite and it was wonderful with lots of space and cabin steward was great. He was attentive without being obtrusive. The Main dining room food and staff was very good with theme nights. Windjammers food was very good, without overcrowded atmosphere. Food was never ...

Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding. We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. St. Thomas was cancelled because of medical emergency with a diversion to Nassau, but that happens and we wish the patient well. We were Impressed with how quickly the port taxes and shore excursion refunds appeared in our online ...

I chose this cruise because I wanted a short one from Galveston, TX. The ship is clean and the staff is very friendly, but the ship has seen better days. We had a Grand Suite which is very comfortable because of its size and closet space, but the chairs in the balcony were stained, the railing had so many scratches that it look dirty and extremely old. One thing I liked and found ...

I chose this cruise mainly because the dates fell within the kids' spring break week. I wanted to introduce the grandsons to cruising, and my daughter and her husband were happy to take another one. The Perfect Storm and Flow Rider were favorites, along with the ice rink (they are hockey players). The staff was superb, although the food on my 2022 and 2023 RCCL cruises were definitely not at ...

We wanted to do a quick and reasonably priced cruise with friends. In hindsight, we should have booked something outside the reach of spring break. The boat was pretty much a floating Chuck E Cheese with kids of all ages running amok. One performer even stopped his act and had a kid move to sit next to his parents and told them “he’s your problem and not mine”. This was pretty indicative of the ...

The Adventure of the Seas is not the Hilton of the Seas. It is more the Best Western of the Seas. While, the ship is older, it is in decent shape. The rooms are spacey and the crew is wonderful. The entertainment is not the best and the on deck pools are rather small. The Promenade is nice but has more jewelry, purse stores, and cologne stores than actual stores you need on a ship. The food is ok, ...

Older traditional ship/fantastic itinerary Western Caribbean and the Americas

We wanted this itinerary for its stops in South and Central America and that was the right thing for us to do, as we've been to the Caribbean so many time. Roatan was a highlight as was Costa Rica, but the Panama Canal is a LONG and mostly boring way to get to the Pacific Ocean. We did by Excursion and glad we did, once you have gone on a canal cruise in Europe, it's the same experience and not ...

Adventure of the Seas review A bit of background: this is cruise #30 for me, and the second after-shutdown – mostly on Royal, but with some Carnival, HAL, and Celebrity cruises thrown in for good measure. Embarkation was mostly smooth: we arrived at 12:30 for a 1 pm embarkation slot, and was surprised that we landed in the last (as far as we could tell) satellite parking lot. There’s been ...

Solid ship with excellent crew

This is a ship that is in decent condition that can take you to some very lovely destinations. As long as you have reasonable expectations, you can have a very nice vacation on Adventure of the Seas. The crew was excellent, and went out of their way to try to make this a wonderful vacation. We are traveling as a family, with 3 children aged 3.7 and 11 at the time of sailing. We chose this ...

CRUISE REVIEW: RCCL – Adventurer of the Seas CRUISE DATES – July 2nd – July 7th This is my 9th overall cruise. It was my 4th on RCCL. I travelled with my wife; Pamela. Different people chose cruises for a variety of reasons. Some chose their cruises based on ship amenities, dining options, port interests, affordability, entertainment, staterooms. I’m one of those guys that values EVERYTHING ...
