Lovely cruise around the Baltic Sea!

Firstly, Southampton is only 25 minutes away from where we live so we left our house at 12.30 and were in our stateroom by 1.10pm! Forty minutes ... not bad! Shame our luggage didn't appear until well after dinner! We dropped our hand luggage in the room and went for a stroll. I had already been on Navigator of the Seas so was aware of the Royal Promenade but my other half hadn't so his first ...

Nice Cruise Iceland Norway Cruise, BUT!

A large boat. Larger than we have cruised on. Somtimes bigger is not better. RCI touts this as a premiere ship. It has some severe limitations. Cruising the North Sea, with an OPEN area solarium pool is inconceivable. BOTH main pools are open. The Adventure is going to the Caribbean in November as well it should. Embarcation/Disembarcation Boarding and leaving the ship is ALWAYS a hassle. The ...

Travelling with my husband and his mother we loved every moment of this cruise. Embarkation was quick and easy, we arrived at 1pm, the only drawback being the heavens opened just as we left the car with our luggage and we had no option but to get very wet walking from the blue badge car park which did not seem very close to the terminal. We had lunch in the Windjammer, which although was quite ...

Amazing Iceland and Fjords

We chose this cruise as we had never visited Iceland before and we weren't disappointed. The ship is typical of Royal Caribbean with the Royal Promenade in the centre and same bars etc. It was clean and well furnished with lots of new carpet throughout. We mainly ate in the main restaurant and the choice and quality of food was excellent, better than on previous RCCI ships. We used the specialist ...

We have just returned from a lovely weeks cruise on this brilliant ship. We found the embarkation experience to be very easy-turning up slightly earlier than we should and finding no long queues or wait. With our two daughters this made getting onboard nice and easy and we were soon exploring the ship within about half an hour. We loved our first look around the ship before the crowds descended ...

This 7 night cruise to the Fjords was booked through Victoria Travel via www.cruise.co.uk. Two adjoining balcony cabins - 8218 and 8220 - with provision(cot) for 9 month old baby. All aspects of the booking were handled in a pleasant, efficient and professional manner with every question and query dealt with promptly by "cruise consultant" Clare Guthrie. The deal included free parking at an ...

We are from Topeka, Kansas. This was our eleventh cruise, the seventh consecutive on Royal Caribbean. The Ship itself. The Adventure is clean and generally bright, given her age. The crew is keeping her in good condition. I noticed crew refinishing railings throughout the ship. Some carpet appears to be stained and should be replaced. We just happened to walk down a stair when a staff person was ...

Having returned from a 12 night cruise of the Baltics aboard Adventure of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) we cannot speak highly enough of the experience aboard the ship and the ports we called into. Having previously sailed around the Mediterranean the Baltics cruise was a much nicer experience. We were initially worried about the lack of activities and entertainment for teenagers but upon arriving ...
