After many cruises with RC,we have always come home excited to tell everyone about the unusual and special things that only happen on a cruise. We have cruised with many cruise lines and of course they also have that one and only type of holiday that you get when cruising. Last year we went with three different cruise lines NCL, in March, RC,Adventure Of The Seas in July and in October P & O. ...

We booked a 2 week Mediterranean cruise for 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 8) sleeping in one family cabin with a balcony. The bed option was a double bed and a sofa bed. Embarkation at Southampton was very smooth. When we were able to access our cabin, we were disappointed. The room was small – we were prepared for that as we appreciate space is a premium on a cruise ship. However… there was a ...

We say that most of the staff of Royal Caribbean have to work with situations they can not control. Our stateroom steward was wonderful. He had to deal with our terrible situation. 1. Restroom smelled like urine everyday. He used bleach regular to clean and pour down the drain. 2. The stateroom smelled like urine regularly. 3. The refrigerator did not work. Told 5 minutes after arriving. The ...

We cruised on the Adventure Of The Seas now in July, and were quite disappointed. We cruised many times and mostly on RCC. The My Time dining did not work at all on this ship. The reception explained that it is not possible to get a reservation at 7:00pm We had to share with other couples, or wait for a table many times even if our booking was for 7:45. After we've complained many times for a ...

We took our third Mediterranean cruise in as many years in August with Royal Carribean, having been previously with Princess and Cunard. Good things first - the staff were pretty good, checking in and disembarking at Southampton was very efficient and, errr, now I'm struggling. Oh wait, the breakfast buffet was quite nice too. And the cabins were clean. I'm afraid there's quite a long list of ...

When a cruise become a charter holiday

Too many passengers or too small ship? The ship is not big enough for a ship full of passsengers. We had to fight to get a table for both breakfast and lunch. The lunch was often so crowded that they had to close the entrance. You must plan you day carefully if you want to eat decently and to get a sunbed. The ship rules said that it was not allowed to reserve sunbeds for more that 30 minutes. ...

(A more detailed version of this letter went to Royal Caribbean's President, with a template response back that said they were sorry we were "disappointed", and that our issues were now "registered in their database. Not very helpful.)Our Mediterranean cruise on The Adventure of the Seas was miserable, absolutely and completely, and solely because of Royal Caribbean's service and facility ...

I planned a cruise with my partner and could not go for any longer than five nights so were left with few options. After much deliberation we decided to book on a five night cruise on the Adventure of the Seas from Malaga. The cruise did not get off to a great start. We arrived at the port and had to queue for miles to eventually get booked in. As soon as we were handed our sea passes, I ...
