Smaller Ship but Packed with High Energy and Fun

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary -- Coco Cay, Tortola & St. Croix. We had never been to those Virgin Islands and we love the Halloween cruises. The cruise director, the activities director and all of the activities staff kept this ship alive and full of fun. The Canadian Captain was very experienced and had a wonderful sense of humor. All the staff were friendly and upbeat. The ...

Amazing time on Adventure of the Seas

It was originally scheduled as a 7 night Eastern Caribbean to St Croix, Tortola and Coco Cay RT from Ft Lauderdale. Because of the hurricane the Adventure of the Seas was re-deployed from Ft Lauderdale to Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico and Perfect Day Coco Cay, Bahamas. I cannot say enough good about Global Airport Parking, we've been using them for all 4 main Florida ports and they all have ...

This was our third cruise having sailed on Norwegian and Celebrity previously. We were very pleased with those too but the focus on customer service was excellent on this ship. Every evening Desti went table to table in MDR to inquire about food and service experience. There was someone in Windjammer who did the same. The food was excellent in both venues. I appreciated the staff in Windjammer ...

Older ship, but you wouldn't know it

My Dad (84) and I (43) had a great father/son cruise onboard the Adventure! My Dad stayed for almost a week at the Fountainbleau in Miami, and I joined him for the last couple of days. This was a very nice hotel, but I'd be happier spending half as much and staying more toward South Beach in a boutique hotel that includes breakfast (such as the Shepley, where we stayed last year). On ...

This was our fourth cruise on Adventure and 46th with Royal Caribbean. We had a Junior Suite, 1646, port side, deck 10. Room was splendid with ample storage and closet space, a welcome change from the tight surroundings on Empress the week before. Dining was Deck 3, my time dining. Food was good not great. The soups were generally outstanding. The second formal night had small lobster ...

Fabulous food on this ship

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

My friend and I chose this repositioning cruise because of the great itinerary and even better price. Embarkation was relatively quick and straightforward; complicated only by unprofessional and unpleasant power-mad ground staff in the holding area. Once onboard, we soon had a drink in hand and were exploring the ship (second time on this ship for me). The ship is elegant, clean and well set ...

Great ship, amazing food and staff!

This was a 12 day southern repositioning cruise that I really didn’t have high expectations for because I knew it was a smaller and older ship. But let me tell you Royal Caribbean really makes sure to keep the old looking new. The food was great and the buffet had a different theme of food every night, so there was always food for everyone’s taste. The staff was the best I have encountered on all ...

Smoothest embarkation and disembarkation yet. This was my 9th cruise and royal has it down to a science. We self assisted off and were in our shuttle before we were supposed to be getting off the ship. Adventure is a nice size ship, not too big and not too small. Cabins were very clean and this ship is hardly dated at all. Plenty of closet/storage space and mini fridge. The water slides are a ...

Reminded us why we like Royal Caribbean

We picked this cruise since it was 8 nights, a great price, and went to one of our favorite ports (St. Maarten). It had been 3 years since we last sailed on Royal Caribbean due to them having limited sailings (seasonal only) on the West Coast. In that time, we have sailed on Holland America, Princess, and several Carnival West Coast cruises. Overall, Royal Caribbean is still our favorite cruise ...

First Time in an Owner's Suite

This was a deal I could not pass up. A once in a lifetime opportunity that gave me a chance to cruise like I have not in all my 40+ cruises. The Owner's Suite has more storage than 15 Oasis of the Seas ocean view balcony cabins combined. I was on the Oasis of the Seas in an ocean view balcony cabin in March 2019 and was very disappointed with storage. Left much to be desired, especially in the ...
