Fun cruise--though the ship shows its age

We arrived in Orlando late Thursday night, picked up a rented car and drove to Hyatt Place in Titusville. (The car they gave us had 82K miles on it shook the entire ride—they got an earful). Dropped the car off at rental agency and they gave us a ride to the ship exactly at our check-in time. Easily dropped our luggage and headed into the terminal. Quick document check, relatively quick ...

The Adventure of the Seas is a good choice for destinations, but limited sea days. Affordable for couples trip. We booked a Junior suite and it was wonderful with lots of space and cabin steward was great. He was attentive without being obtrusive. The Main dining room food and staff was very good with theme nights. Windjammers food was very good, without overcrowded atmosphere. Food was never ...

Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding. We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. St. Thomas was cancelled because of medical emergency with a diversion to Nassau, but that happens and we wish the patient well. We were Impressed with how quickly the port taxes and shore excursion refunds appeared in our online ...

Staff, service food and entertainment were exceptional. Hit some very windy days and one rainy day that limited poolside activities. This was my second time aboard the Adventurer and I forgot how confining the balcony was. The major negative of our trip was the condition of the ship and maintenance. Rugs, chairs and sofas were not the cleanest and resembled the coat on a Dalmatian. Windows were ...

We sail early January each year for our wedding anniversary. Best gift is time together and throw in warm weather--my idea of Heaven. Embarkation was quick and easy. We were on ship by 11am. Adventure was what we expected..very clean and sparkling. Signage was good. We quickly made our way to the Windjammer buffet. Food was ok. Crew were extremely personable and helpful. Our inside ...

My husband, our two sons (ages 8 and 10 years old), his aunt, two friends of mine and I all went on the Adventure of the Seas from December 7-15, 2019. We had been on several Royal ships before and our favourite one was the Allure. We chose to ‘downsize’ to the Adventure to allow us to visit the ABC islands. First off, we cannot say enough great things about the islands – they are by far our ...

Can now cross off the ABC Islands from my bucket list! Embarkation- Our flight landed in San Juan at 10:30AM on Saturday 4/28/18. Took about 1 hour to collect our luggage as we shared the baggage area with another flight that got in about the same time we did. Got to the terminal around 11:45, onboard enjoying Lunch in the WJ by 12 noon. Food - We thought all the venues we used (MDR, WJ, ...

This cruise was very enjoyable, the weather was wonderful and we met lots of great people. The only thing that could be better was checking into the port in San Juan. The lines where very long and it seemed like they needed to increase the staff. The food was OK in the dining room and the buffet. The entertainment was my highlight and very good. I cruised with Royal Caribbean before and didn't ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. embarkation at San Juan was long. We flew in the day of and when we got to the port there were two lines that were not marked well. One line for luggage and the other with no luggage. Once you stood in line to drop your luggage off then you had to go stand in the other line without luggage. The ship was clean and in the room you could smell the ...

We chose this cruise because we had never been to the Caribbean before and we wanted to see as much as we could. It had a very busy itinerary with 6 ports. And we thought based on reading reviews that Royal Caribbean would be a good fit for us as first time cruisers. The dining experiences at the signature dining restaurants (Giovanni's and Chops) were fantastic! Very quiet and intimate and so ...
