We have been cruising with Royal since 2002 - have done 9 cruises and 7 were with RCCL.and second time on Adventure
We have never been so disappointed on how much royal has gone down since our last time on the Adventure. We did Alaska in 2013 on Radiance (love Alaska and the Radiance).

I had never traveled on a Royal ship in the past so this was my first. The ship was nice with many bells and whistles I had not experienced in the past. We, because of price and spouse are "Loyal to Royal". But I'm serious thinking not such a great idea. If they are going to continue using older ships they really need to stop a day and CLEAN them thoroughly!!
Entertainment was Excellent!!

The cruise was average. We had great service in the dining room in the evening. The entertainment was ok. There was a comedian that was good (with puppets). and the ice show was excellent.

We liked the 8 night cruise instead of 7. The embarkation was probably the best we have experienced in many, many cruises. There were 300 Diamond Members and 200 Diamond Plus Members - all stuffed into the lounge and spilling out into the Viking Crown Lounge.

Live in the area and wanted to visit the itinerary listed. Boarding went smoothly, room was ready. Entered and looked over Promenade and saw the folks across the way, waved to folks in elevator as a joke, but they waved back.
