Another great RC cruise

I talked a very hesitant friend and her husband into trying a cruise and decided my wife and I should go along. Glad we did. I should first describe my idea of a great cruise...really relaxed. Stayed at the Fortuna hotel pre cruise. Really neat little boutique hotel near the beach. Boarding was effortless. There was no line for Diamond and a short line for general boarding. On ...

We have been cruising with Royal since 2002 - have done 9 cruises and 7 were with RCCL.and second time on Adventure We have never been so disappointed on how much royal has gone down since our last time on the Adventure. We did Alaska in 2013 on Radiance (love Alaska and the Radiance). Done get me wrong some parts of the cruise were fabulous (staff especially), but overall it seems RCCL is ...

We were on this ship for the 8-night 2018 Christmas Cruise departing Ft. Lauderdale with stops in Nassau, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and St. Kitts. This was the second Christmas cruise for us on this ship, the last one 4 years ago out of San Juan, PR. Overall, this was our 5th cruise on RCL and our 8th cruise overall. We are an active couple in our early 50’s and were traveling with our 2 daughters ...

I had never traveled on a Royal ship in the past so this was my first. The ship was nice with many bells and whistles I had not experienced in the past. I did not like that the Windjammer had restricted hours of service as I have pretty much been used to on other cruises. I was not crazy about the shows on the Adventure, but Mercedes and Isaac were fantastic. I was really hoping for a WOW ...

We, because of price and spouse are "Loyal to Royal". But I'm serious thinking not such a great idea. If they are going to continue using older ships they really need to stop a day and CLEAN them thoroughly!! Entertainment was Excellent!! This class ship (as we sailed back-to-back with the Navigator of the Seas) won't be our choice anytime soon. **The plus is the food was good and ...

The cruise was average. We had great service in the dining room in the evening. The entertainment was ok. There was a comedian that was good (with puppets). and the ice show was excellent. When I had lunch in the dining room I ordered hot tea. Each time, the tea never came. Thankfully my dinner waiter stopped over to ask how the service was and if he could get me anything. Otherwise, I'd ...

We liked the 8 night cruise instead of 7. The embarkation was probably the best we have experienced in many, many cruises. There were 300 Diamond Members and 200 Diamond Plus Members - all stuffed into the lounge and spilling out into the Viking Crown Lounge. Luggage was delivered in ample time to unpack before muster. We are Diamond Plus with over 300 nights on Royal. However, We did ...

Not up to RC standards

We chose this cruise because I got an email from Royal Caribbean with a "great" deal and it was the time we had planned to go on vacation. The cruise was not up to the RC standards of my previous two cruises with RC. The staff were unhelpful and rude at times and just ignored us the rest of the time. They changed our dining room table number, which was fine, but neglected to tell us that it was ...

8-night Eastern Caribbean

We chose this cruise because it occurred after hurricane season and it was presented to us as a ship that had recently been renovated. The ship was clean and the staff very friendly although not very knowledgeable of the ship's functions. When we would ask informational questions the answers that were given were incorrect. Their offer was that you did not need to purchase the internet to use ...
