The Adventure of the Seas is an old ship that is in need of a lot of care and maintenance. The appearance of the ship is rusty, with outside tables and chairs that are showing their many years of usage. We traveled with our family-2 kids under 10 and 2 adults. The ship was dated (stains on lounge seats, theater chairs, etc. The main hall of this ship was very congested on floor 5 and it did not feel like a grand cruise. Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding. We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. This is a ship that is in decent condition that can take you to some very lovely destinations. As long as you have reasonable expectations, you can have a very nice vacation on Adventure of the Seas. We’re age 65 plus and love to dance and enjoy Zumba line dancing theme parties etc. Enjoyed the chances we had but RCL seems to be cutting back on that stuff. RCL had so much karaoke.
