Seems like Princess are skimping on staff. Distinct lack of drinks waiters. Having to wait up to 20 minutes for a waiter to come by. Cost of drinks very expensive. Basic glass of wine $15.one would think that it would pay to have extra staff as this is where a lot of money is made.

Embarking on this cruise I was surprised there was no covid screening requested or available prior to embarkation. Given the majority of passengers were seniors and there were 3500 people sharing what amounted to a sealed tin can, I found this a little odd.

My reintroduction to cruising. Grand Princess looked like she'd been carefully manicured while she was laid up. Fresh paint, everything tidy. The last renovation was a good one. Just wanted a short break to take some non cruisers on a trial cruise...so we did a 3 nighter from Adelaide to Melbourne in 4 cabins. The ship was old and tired, the staff dis-interested and this reflected in the food, some surly waiters and the entertainment.
